The fact that the Spine had his own dialogue for the remainder of the video... then there is the rest of us still watching when he thinks everyone has left. hahahaha, we would never leave you Spine
1:10 metal vocalist here with almost 2 decades of distorted vocals. When The Spine sings the line "in the night sky, it was doing me wrong" with that gritty vocal fry in it, it's pretty apparent that he would be able to create some harsh vocals that would be not only effective, but impressive as well.
the world: *an actual hellscape, absolutely barren, The Spine is being manhandled by an actual robot squid, Rabbit is a Rabicopter and Zero is a steam train* The Spine: "This is fine."
Oh! Samuel Luke did the illustration for this? That's wonderful to hear! That's Hatchworth, for those who may not be in the know! So of course he had to animate Hatchworth's little hand grabbing his fancy shoe. Also it's funny that The Spine said that people would look at the length of the video and ask themselves 'Just how long is this song?' Because that is literally what I was thinking when I clicked on this! And as the song was drawing to a close, I was just like... Uh... Is there more? Is this song going to be needlessly drawn out? What's happening. Glad I stayed till the end though!
The train with Zero as a face has reminded me of the song "One Way Ticket", when it is mentioned that the train has a face and the conductor plays the bass, and the rest of the details too, (like the music box, the poster, the skulls of what appear to be Jackalopes, the fancy shoe, from other songs, just to mention some of them) I love it. Beautiful song and beautiful interpretation from everyone, I love it.
Legend has it that the spine is still in the loving embrace of the giant robot squid thing ranting on and on of all the things he misses and making references
The art Sam and Bunny did is amazing! Like a cross between Steampunk and Book 3 of The Dark Tower. Apparently, Zero is playing the part of Blaine the Mono.
This is so much fun! So much to see, little details to notice... plus The Spine is so perfect. Great voice, great robotic movement, and we get to really see his pretty eyes. Rabbit is hilarious, and Zero train is fantastic. I love this song!
Well grease me up and call me slick... This is very thrilling! Does any one concur? Covid has really slowed down alot of my favorite artist. So when I saw this. It is refreshing.
Weird rabbit was the first one I got into early days before and after her transformation now I'm learning how music works Spine is becoming one of my all time favourite vocalists.
My headcanon had been of Rabbit doing some River Tam/Neo/gun kata-esque flips and finishers on the battlefields, but seeing her as a spinning flipping drone copter leaves me with an even more sense of dread for her opponents And especially when paired with that giraffe-dragon
For some reason I stayed past the 50 some names from patreon and got over ten minutes of fun and interesting words from a perspective not my own and I needed that. I've also had a few drinks but not enough yet to not remember so now that I've said that, I'll resume drowning my sorrows to your music with my headphones on
Aaaa the art! The animation!! The visual references!! The movement!!! Just a masterpiece!! I love how everyone was visually included through different machines!! 15/10 great video
I was staring at the fancy shoe right as it was snatched away!! Props to Sam and David for the visuals and editing respectively. I can’t imagine how much of a beast this video was! It looks absolutely fantastic.
Your music has become such a comfort to me, and I only found it (I think) a few months ago, but the way you sound is so pleasant, and I just think it's swell. I remember finding you guys through Honey Bee, and then that was pretty much my gateway. Fire Fire, I'll Rust With You, Automatic Electronic Harmonics, Captain Albert Alexander, Me & My Baby, and Wired Wrong (Which even before finding this band is something I've always felt/said, being wired wrong can suck sometimes, especially when your brain doesn't want to focus lmao) just to name a few are all so amazing and they just make me so happy. And the skit you guys did with Mac The Night (??? something like that, I believe it was at the park y'all used to perform at) never fails to make me laugh. Your music is incredible, the fact that, from what I can gather, y'all do your own makeup constantly, and just the way you perform and the movements and everything is so attention catching and is near impossible not to fall in love with. Also, hope you always stay more Bishop than Ash, Rabbit!! (edit: after reaching the end of the video, I hope you guys know that we don't care if you don't have content to put out at the moment! And even if we did, it wouldn't matter, cause you guys are very obviously your own people and you produce at your own pace!)
They are artists worth of the title. Good music good vocals and even though they robots ( or pretend to be but we say they are robots to keep the dream alive) they are no stranger to emotions
Another masterpiece from you guys. My husband and I sing your "diamonds" cover together every week at karaoke (though I can never hope to come close to the Spines level of movement because Im not a robot lol). Hopefully we get more people hooked on your amazing songs
“I miss fun.”
That sums up the last couple of years. Spine needs a hug.
We all could use a hug about now.

I'm so impressed with The Spine's isolation movements, not only a beautiful singer, but the pantomime is stellar!
I know, he almost seems human! It's quite remarkable clockwork

Acting like he is stuck in the loving embrace of the robotic squid, but he can just detach his head and slither off to roam the hellscape.
he has to have the release catch released and it's under the squid, didn't you read the comic
The fact that the Spine had his own dialogue for the remainder of the video... then there is the rest of us still watching when he thinks everyone has left. hahahaha, we would never leave you Spine
Omg Hatchworth's dismembered hand dragging his fancy shoe away xD

"-sunny disposition! Ha! For the rest of time!"
Colossal mood.

someone call peter to pick up his children from the starscrap dimension they’ve begun to evolve
“Six pick us up we’re scared”
I think Steam Powered Giraffe would fit in really well in the Fallout universe. We need to petition Bethesda.

You know it's bad when the isolation is even starting to take its toll on robots...
But this was fun :)
I'm really glad I stuck around for the 10 minutes of Spine ramblings

new headcanon, one way ticket is a song about bad days, its all connecting
I never imagined that Sky Sharks had wings until i saw this video. To add: The white Cadillac did rust and there's a cloud puppy
@@sammicaked Haha, could be.
@@GrandC Yes, they have wings, you can see it in the individual art of the song. And yes, I loved all those details.
i noticed that right away and now I will never look at one way ticket the same
the details in the artwork; lmao this is fun, a fanservice bomb
Im so happy everyone is starting to feel better and publishing more again! Missed you guys so much!
Not to be dramatic but this is the most beautiful singing I've ever heard in my life.

I love this entire band SO MUCH. My heart didn't know it needed to see Zero as a train. Thank you for everything you do

i would pay so much money to be able to explore that apocalyptical future.
You don't need to pay. Just wait a couple years.

sounds right up my alley, hope you decide to drop a link!!!
I have no idea what the context of Free the Spoon is but it is deeply hilarious. As is the Spines waffle
I love SPG's music videos so much-- they're all so unique, and this one is rapidly becoming my favorite the more I notice with each rewatch.
Weird rabbit was the first one I got into early days before and after her transformation now I'm learning how music works Spine is becoming one of my all time favourite vocalists.
This scene is an apocalyptic fever dream and I love it

I will never stop loving this band
Seeing the length of the video I thought I'd get bored, but the last part is oh so raw. Hang in there, dear Walter robots, things will get better!
My inner child's favorite show ❤
the amount of references to other SPG songs in the background art is so cool. awesome songs and art.
Another prime example of The Spines vocal range. Love those deep backups by Zero, and Rabbits soothing harmonies with makeup on point 👌

The way the spine shakes back from motion is so cool!
I was not prepared for everyone to be in this video and was SUPER surprised and excited for it.
this song has played a huge part in helping my mental health. thank you for existing
Thank you all for still being around. I know it doesn't help much, but y'all make the world a better place just by being here.

this band deserves so much more attention
They are artists worth of the title. Good music good vocals and even though they robots ( or pretend to be but we say they are robots to keep the dream alive) they are no stranger to emotions
No one told Spine to stop filming and by the time anyone else caught on to what was happening they didn't want to stop him.
The artwork and animations are perfect.
The Walter Workers have SO MUCH work to do before the robots can be put on stage again...
The detail to this drawing!!! I'm not crying, you're crying!
