They were giving their lives for her and only then did she ask what was going on. She was the most powerful piece on the chessboard but she never knew how to use the power she had. A Ravenclaw most definitely would have realized what was going on, Katniss couldn't even read the room sometimes. 😑, I'm telling you, she could never be a Ravenclaw. Snow literally had to explain why her sister had died and who killed her, and who had the most to gain. But even before that people were trying to warn her about Coin and how far she would go to take power.
Katniss is either a Gryffindor either a Slytherin,She is smart,but she has street smarts,she isn’t a thinker,she isn’t wise..She’s brave and loyal,like a Gryffindor but also pretty competitive and cunning and ambitious like a Slytherin,but a Ravenclaw,no way!Foxface,Haymitch,Cinna,Beetee,Wiress And Maybe Prim are Ravenclaw But Katniss is SO not a ravenclaw(But She is a Hufflepuff just as little as she is a Ravenclaw)
why does everyone have to be Slytherin, even when they're not? Think about the Slytherin traits, ambitious and cunning. She is neither, she is a hunter, which is purely a Gryffindor trait. Already 1,2, and 4.(aka a Career) are all Slytherin. Katniss is a survivor, in the book/movie she picks the weakest people to befriend and defend. She's ignorant from the beginning to the end of everything that goes on around her, she doesn't want to be a symbol of a rebellion, she says this over and over yet she does it anyway to protect her sister, mother, and friends. The only time she has killed was in self-defense or a mercy kill, never for ambition of power. She killed Coin for killing her sister and then she went back to district 12 and just kinda faded away. She is a Hufflepuff because she is a fighter, but she is kind, not only was she hunting to feed her family, but she sold her game to everyone, she's fair, even when the world isn't fair to her, that's why when she was chosen everyone saluted her.

@@serpeny_hell A Gryffindor is all about morals, a Slytherin is a loyalist to themselves and their loved ones. Katniss is definitely the latter. It‘s about values, not about abilities. There are surely plenty of Slytherins who aren‘t smart, but value the houses qualities. That said, she has Gryffindor tendencies in how she goes about things, just like Hermione uses Ravenclaw techniques (but here again, her mindset doesn‘t fit Ravenclaw‘s open mindedness, she‘s rather forcing her own views onto others like a Gryffindor would).
First, Ravenclaw would be Katniss's third choice behind Hufflepuff and Gryffindor. A lot less of her considering the thumbnail. Kinda dissapointed. Otherwise, with HP, great job for my house. I love the Harry Potter edits. Work on Katniss in Gryffindor.
