What a beautiful song! I really thought that the song is wonderful on English. But in Belarusian it is thousand times better. I hope I can visit this beautiful country in the future!
Hi, @SaBracaSam! I also have a great interest in Slavic languages, and I can't find songs in Belarusian. Most of the Belarusian singers I met sing in Russian. Do you have suggestions for singers? Thanks in advance.
@@lucianomartinspomponet9275 Hello. I from Belarus (Minsk). Most of Belarussian singers sings on russian, because russian is the famous laungage in Belarus. I can give advise. Listen song by Aleksandr Rybak "Небасхiл Еуропы". This is very beautiful song on Belarussian laungage

I prefer the belarusian version and I think it was a mistake to translate the song into English for the contest. Anyway, even in English, it was in my top five in 2011.
PERFECTO!!! Ahora me gusta más que antes!!! Greetings from Costa Rica...
This version is MUCH, MUCH, MUCH better than English or Russian version. Belarussian is quite special of all Slavic languages, because the pronounciation is different. Love it!! 12 points to Belarussian language! ;)
Wow this song is AWESOME in Belorussian. Why did they change it to English version???? This would have done really well in native tongue. Sounds like a sexy language! Love the chorus!!!!
This is a great song ! Belarus should have finished on the podium of the ESC with it. Her voice is better when she sings in Belarusian than in English. I think it was a mistake to translate the song into English for the contest.

FSKING FOUND IT!!! Had this track on a mix CD I borrowed from a friend and didn't know who did it. Three days after a frantic search through every OTHER country in the area's music, I finally found it! Now I can tag it properly! Thank you SO much!
Wonderful song! I love it! It was one of the very best songs this year in the ESC. it's even better in Russian. Spasiba balshoy for giving us this version. Belarus 12 points! Greetings from Schwetsya.
I really like the singer voice. No matter if the song sounds "nationalist" or everybody think its politically or historically incorrect to other countries (hey it's good to love your country!!!)... its really catchy!!! . I send my support from Mexico to Anastasiya Vinnikova.

This song doesn't have nice lyrics no matter what, but at least in this language I can't understand it and can enjoy it more. It sounds much more natural for her to sing in her own language instead of English, obviously. This version is better than English.
I dress up as the girl who represents Belarus in a TV show called Hetalia and when I first found the song it was in English, I put it on my Ipod and was a happy cosplayer. and then I found the Belarussian version... i THINK i'M MORE THEN HAPPY NOW
Question for Belarusian citizens: Do people usually listen to Belarusian-language music or Russian-language music? I've heard that Belarusian language music is really popular even though the main language is Russian

The lyrics have a few 'Russian-like errors'. Ё is a different letter from Е in Belarusian, being considered an orthographic misspel. In Russian they mix both due to laziness maybe.
A lovely song indeed~! =D Personal goal for the next hour -- attempt to find a good translation of this lovely song (and let it NOT be the English version... nuances abound with official song translations.... just look at Hungary's entry -_-l|)

This is a great song ! Belarus should have finished on the podium of the ESC with it. Her voice is better when she sings in Belarusian than in English. I think it was a mistake to translate the song into English for the contest.
I agree with you. But they translate this song, because they got scared that the audience will not understand the song in Belarusian

Awesome artist, Great Song, Beautiful Country... God Bless Mogilev - Belarus )
