Perhaps another thing to look at are the organisations who got Allied airmen out of occupied France?

What a great video and such an important story to tell. I've always known a little bit about the French resistance, particularly in support of the Normandy invasion, and now I know much more. Merci.
You are correct that we must not forget the sacrifices and contributions of the Resistance. Their story is woven in with every action and battle and newspaper headline of the day.

Oh my, this is the story that should be heard by every student in school, we must never forget, and may this history never repeat itself. The part about the prisoners on the train towards the end really broke me, I will always honor each and every last person that gave so much to the allied cause, the effort it took is unimaginable, I am grateful I could raise my kids in freedom, the resistance was deserving of so much honor, my thank you to them, I am eternally grateful. This was I believe your best video yet, thank you for the tribute to these remarkable people

Thank you for sharing the video, it's interesting to hear the build up and fight from the French side. I still remember when President Macron read the extremely moving letter from Henri Fertet for D-Day 75 in Portsmouth.
I'm proud that one of my grandfathers took part in the D- Day landings, the other was involved in the invasion of Italy. My Great-uncle Sidney was a company runner with the 7th Parachute Battalion and was on French soil just after midnight on the 6th June. Although he survived D-Day he was killed on 7th April 1945.
I am immensely grateful to all those that risked everything and especially to those that gave everything for freedom. They must not be forgotten.

Wow fantastic, the French must of been very proud of the resistance, when the found out just how many, and who did what.
We must never forget the people who sacrificed everything for us,even today we must support our police, doctors, nurses, the army, fire brigade, they are risking there life's for us an we should respect them for that,I'm a plumber an haven't had to sacrifice anything,I support there causes,I wished we treated our soldiers better, they fight an die for us ,some get terrible injuries,an the government doesn't even spend every penny possible on them, soliders have to use charities to survive, even after giving everything for their country,at least the people can respect an support, there fellow citizens.
Just love your content my friend, sugar cubes in concrete,I've never heard of that, may people are ingenious.

I so agree with you about our everyday heroes, it makes me sick to see how nurses are treated for example. These people deserve so much better, without them our society wouldn't run and our politicians are so ungrateful to them. Cheers my friend
