Yey! I'm so happy to see you make an oil pastel artwork! 🤩🙌 It's amazing that they are still working after being shelved for quite some time. Looks like they can still stain fingers, too 😅 (Don't worry, that's my dilemma, too, haha)
Thank you so much for the mention ❤ I am looking forward to see more of your oil pastel works. The red flower you made was just perfect! 👏

They were good to go as soon as I figured out what colors they were! The bright colors are worth the stained fingers for sure. But I do paint on a white table, so I'm going to have to remember to use paper towels or some kind of paper underneath next time! With watercolor, its easy clean up.
      You are so welcome!!!

Fun, I bought a smaller set at michaels, not to impressed with artist loft products. I think better quality pastels would be better. I actually like soft pastel better I think.😊

I didn't remember even having this set! I knew I had a smaller one. Its by Holbein and they are much more creamy and smooth than the artist loft. But I love the fact that I have such a color range with the artist loft pastels. I think the key to oil pastels is blending, and if I have more colors to blend with I think it will be easier to learn.
I am very interested in investing into higher quality pastels if I continue to really use these.
