“The Butt Witch” is an inhabitant of Endless Island and the main antagonist in Twelve Forever
The Butt Witch holds a deep grudge towards Reggie for messing with her “grown up wonderland” and claiming the island. Her purpose on Endless seems to be a purely destructive one, though part of her goal is to be a constant reminder that Reggie has to accept that she has to, eventually, grow up.
I like how they don't want to hurt the person but make them feel insecure and grow up faster.

Personally I’d say that while the delivery fits perfectly with the character, the pitch of the voice doesn’t. The thing is that’s totally fine since the character is charismatic and the voice performance is otherwise great so the overall quality is still good.

I really wish the show had developed the representative aspects of this character. How children ahouldnt be afraid of growing up, but it is important to nurture your inner child. 12 could've helped Butt witch reconnect with that part of herself, while Butt witch could've taught 12 what it means to be grown up and how to face the realities of the adult world in a way a child could understand, growing into a fun wine aunt figure. It couldve had an overarching narrative.
But then the show runner decided to be a freak and ruin so much potential.

It's not that deep. That line isn't even weird, it is literally just the truth. They are "waiting to bloom" because they are little but they will eventually "bloom" because they will slowly become grown up women. Don't see why the need to make everything weird

I mean I'm sure the idea of the show originated from her creepy infatuation with children, but the thing is the subject matter of the show isn't inherently suspect. Like watching this show and hearing lines like that you wouldn't immediately assume pedophilia is at work since the topic of puberty isn't some horrific taboo thing that only pedophiles bring up

The butt witch didn't need to be built this way, but I'm happier that she is. A perfect foil for a pre-teen protag.
No she should, ws theirs a reason why she's not only designed with an exagurrated hourglass shape: general appeal.
That general appeal is supposed represent how all those maganzes 12 threw into the volcano were about sterotypes,not helpful advice to convince a growing girl about the beauty from whitin growing as the body grows.
Instead its more likely pushed to get her to be sold on sterotypes to pay products.
In way the buttwitch respresents society's view on what a real woman is like not actually the case, design wise her not bwing musculat which being strong and attractive is a key detail.
Not that Buttwitch isn't storng is just her bodytype doesn't express her skill and care she puts in being storng.
As from what I've generally people aren't into muscular women, atleast generally anyway.
Which is why most of them aren't in media.
So the Buttwich being sterotipically attractive but at the same time having snake wnd alien like qualities that represent 12's view on it is geunenly perfect character design.

@@alexcat6685long story short: butt witch is made to look like a stereotypical adult woman because of how media puts it on women.
Her design is definitely a call back to a lot of older character designs. The moms from shows like robot boy, dexter's lab. The uncanny voice that doesn't match the shape you see kind of like Him from the Powerpuff girls. The unnerving perma smile and blank stare of the cheshire cat.
All of those features created a very interesting character, it's too bad about the real life stuff that prevented this character from really shining.
that’s why this character seemed so familiar to me! I couldn’t really put my finger on it at first but she does remind me of HIM from power puff girls lol
I never noticed the Cheshire Cat influence but the smile and pointy purple hair “ears” make so much sense now!

Everyone who worked hard to make the show hoped her private (dark web?) social media posts of her stalking a teen boy at a fair would never become public. But they did, and everyone who ended up working on the show more than the creator lost a gig that could have lasted them years if Netflix gave the show some decent marketing. Instead, the scandal broke out, and the show was quickly cancelled!

I was not prepared for that voice lmao. I never watched the show, I just know why it was canceled, and it's a shame because Butt Witch is a very entertaining character.
I do not vibe with the whole “destroy a show, fore hundreds, disappoint thousands” because a character designer was a “creep” which is a vague term.

However the show was actually cancelled because the animation company making it went bankrupt. However I’m sure it wasn’t picked up by another company because of the creator.
Edit: I forgot to mention Netflix fired her prior to the show’s premiering for undisclosed reasons, though rumors claim it was due to inappropriate behavior with staff (of course the reason is only speculation).

This show was kinda cool (tbh mostly cause of Butt Witch) but really weirded me out. I never went beyond 1 episode.
Knowing now that the creator was a creep (suprise surprise) really makes me think. Human pattern recognition is a heck of survival tool.

I’m still upset at the creator being a creep but the Buttwitch was the best. She’s so iconic and deserved more. 😔✨ I also am finding more appreciation for female characters with deep voices. She’s one of my faves along with Ms. Monarch, Ms. Secondopinionson, and Doris.

I gotta say I've never seen this show before, and I was very caught off guard with the stunning character design only to be thrown for a loop by the British male voice. But I must say as I continued to watch this comp. This villain is certainly something else entirely and I vibe with it. This chick is a riot
The Butt Witch was the only reason I wanted to watch the show in the first place, then I learn about the accusations, THEN I LEARN she isn't even in more than 15 minutes of the whole damn series. So thanks for making this compilation, that pretty much saves me from ever needing to watch the show for any reason. Such a shame, this character is great.
