I met Ez in 1991 on a school field trip to the A’s game. Idk why he was there but we were in line to take a picture with him. When it was my turn he asked me my name and he was the first person outside my family to tell me I had a cool name. He held the line up for like ten minutes talking to me. Then during the game I went to the bathroom and when I stepped out EZ ran past me hella fast and winked then like 100 girls ran past chasing him. That was one of the coolest moments in my life 😂😂😂

That's cool as hell, man! I met him in 1993 when I was working security at a show he was doing for his 5150 Home For The Sick LP. As usual, all of us were called to show up a few hours early to have a meeting with the crew and manager to set up and plan for the show. This time, there was a huge buffet of food, snacks and sodas set up. Instead of our boss briefing us it was Eazy E. He started by thanking us for showing up and telling us the buffet was for us and the entire crew who was setting up for the show. That was the only time an entertainer EVER showed us that kind of gratitude and respect. He even made his way around to each one of us and shook hands and talked for a bit. He recognized some of my ink and instantly told me "I know some that crew from Eas Los...those Ese's are my people. They're gonna be here too." He was 100% the real deal and treated everyone around him with respect. That's why E will always be #1.

Yeah good luck getting that lawsuit to stick, the only person who can make a complaint is dead, and frankly, If people really care about preserving the good name of the deceased, they probably dont want very expensive lawyers digging through the past and finding all of the skeletons. These boys were gangsta in the 80's and 90's in LA, you think they were only selling weed? Or is it more likely that this hypothetical defamation case actually exposes a pretty nasty crack, heroin and sex trafficking racket?

Nah bro, it's like this. We're adults. We know shit gets embellished and exaggerated. It's just a fact that Eazy was a cold dude. In and outside the studio. You don't have to know him personally to see that. And for a movie that supposed to tell the story of these guys to just spin it 180, just feels disrespectful and petty. That's what folks have gripes with.

RIP Eazy E, Keita and Margaret. Respect and Luv to Y'all 🙏🏾✊🏾

I grew up during the actual beginning of Rap in NY no less. NWA era changed Rap. If I knew then what I know and hear now. I would never have supported it. These days I only listen to Gospel. Even so come again Lord God Yahuah Hamashiach come. Peace

This is why I don't really get into biopics these days. I remember hearing very different things about Easy E during his last years on Earth. Not to say that I followed his career that closely, but from the clips I saw in Straight Outta Compton (I haven't watched the movie and I don't plan on it), it was impossible to believe that E was broke with the way Bone Thugs was blowing up and by the way his keen business sense worked. Bro definitely knew what he was doing. RIP Easy E!

I get it I'm mad respect for easy but pioneer, I believe he was a good dude had many layers to him that we would never ever know, I believe that some of the stuff was embellished on Dre and ice cube however it wasn't an Eazy-E documentary it was NWA although it may not be all factual it's not all about easy either Just keeping it 100. Anybody from that area know that easy wasn't about his and well respected

I’m still trying to figu out how were Dre and Cube portrayed as gangsters? Dre was a Wrecking Crew member and DJ which they showed. Cube was in school writing rhymes. They portrayed Eazy As the Gangster soon as the movie came on.
