Very goo overview of this tool. Two questions Does it correct punctuation for dialogue? Can I target its editing for middle grades (ages 9-13) fiction?
Thank you for this tutorial, Joanna. After all this tinkering would the document be classed as 'some AI input' on the Amazon platform? (As this now has to be declared) I know it's all your own original work, but I wonder if a certain level of AI editing help from platforms like PWA would count as AI assisted.
I think if you substantially used 'Rewrite' perhaps, but I think you don't need to declare editing tools. Up to you of course. I declare AI usage in every work as I use it at different stages of the process.
I had used PWA a while back, but didn't know it had so many hidden gems! I have the Premium version, I guess that's the one you're demonstrating, Joanna?
I bought this software a year ago but haven't used it. I think I felt it might become a prop or that I wouldn't feel my work was my own. After watching this I see it is totally up to me what I choose to use and that I'll get some really interesting feedback.
They are very different. This is an editing tools, whereas Claude and ChatGPT are multi-purpose AI assistants that are not designed specifically for editing. You can try them all as a comparison!
Help - I can’t keep up with all the fantastic content you’re producing. If only the writing community knew what they were missing out on, those yet to discover you.
Do you know of a way to check for reading level? I need to pull Mine down to 5th grade.

How is the functionality when using it withing Scrivener? Or do you recommend we edit withing PWA.
You can just do it within PWA. I use Scrivener, but will likely migrate for editing purposes.
Would PWA be suitable for analysing, say, a book of person studies as a result of findings from genealogical research (make sense?) ?
Just try it and see :)
@@thecreativepenn it's all in my head at the moment!
Great Joanna - many thanks. Can't wait to get stuck in.
Fascinating! Thank you!

Yes, it's the premium, and they have added a lot of functionality recently :)

Oh yes, it's not a tool for writing, only for editing. I find it super helpful.
Awesome!
What's the difference between this and Claude or chat gpt.
