Great video! I've rode both the SR and Altis everything you said is exactly what I say about both bikes except the Top Speed. These bikes really only hit advertised speeds in optimal conditions meaning a fully charged battery at 100% on street in 80° weather. Basically California weather were both companies are located, I hit the advertised speeds 70mph all the time in these conditions.

Great review! One glaring difference between these bikes (also why it weighs so much more) altis has a gear box vs the belt drive. Can you do an in depth video of the differences and pros and cons? I want the SR but the gear box for me might sway me based on maintenance
I want to know how the Goat Power "Dirt Goat Bike" compares to these 2 bikes?? I've heard it's supposedly better and is balanced much better, but I don't know if any of that is actually true or not
I’d love to see a detailed video like this of the fully modded Surron vs the SR. I know the Surron wins the drag race, but it would be cool to see a video on how close stock bikes today are to fully modded ones. Loving the videos on the SR!

my 19inch 39t altis goes 75 gps in race after the battery is warm. takes about an hour to get the battery warm while riding and it’s usually around 50f-60f outside

So for someone who mainly rides off road what would you recommend altis or e ride sr??! I’m Coming from an upgrade 2.0 e ride. I like the stoutness of the altis…
Both of these bikes should be using either molicel or ampace cells. Both of which have no sag and perform excellent in cold weather too. Great video guys. Thank you.
Im interested in the ewatt battery for the talaria. Its doesn’t look that much bigger than stock and probably has tons of power and range. Can we get a separate video on that?
Good video but something you gave the talaria over the E ride was the gearbox I’ll have to watch it again. I watched it kind of slightly paying attention, but I don’t remember hearing anything about that from you guys.
I think it depends on if you’re off roading or not. I couldn’t care less about drag races on the street. For off road it’s still the bike to get imo hands down. According to them It handles better (a huge thing worth many points), the rear suspension feels better (also really important), the throttle response feels way better (yet again, super important), the tire setup is better. The build quality is arguably better (that extra weight goes somewhere). Longer and more rake in the fork gives more confidence. The key thing is just not a big deal at all, same with the button setup, especially with a thumb regen coming. Too much emphasis on things that don’t matter as much imo. I spent all day riding hard on my Altas MX today, absolutely love it and don’t regret the choice at all. Especially after some basic upgrades like a shock and tires it will be an excellent bike.
So my buddy bought me a blue handlebar riser and I wanted them to order me magnesium. This was during the Black Friday sale. I actually never looked at my parts until today. Is there a way I can exchange it for a magnesium one? Thanks for the videos as always!

Your gear ratio is off, my man. Altis's own website says to change it to 9.2,. The 19/19 had to be changed to 8.3 from its stock 7.2 to be accurate. It's a dirty business when ebike manufacturers advertise their bikes top speed. The Mx is at best a 65 mph bike, and the 19/19 is a 75 mph bike. I tested my 19/19 to a GNSS Performance Analyzer by SKYRC, and it pulls from 12 different satellites to give me the exact accuracy of my Altis.
I've watched countless videos on the sigma and all others clocked the top speed at 70 to 71 mph. They used GPS to make sure. How did you guys get just 54 mph?🤔
Because it is the MX version not the 19/19. Altis has already told us it is slower than the 19/19, due to its smaller rear wheel and its larger sprocket. All those other youtube videos are on the 19/19 version that got released to the public about 3 weeks earlier than the MX version. It will do about 75 mph. Thats what I got mine up to.
