Already is multiple that require a team of 4+ to complete in the later tiers and they are byfar some of the most annoying, honestly prefer being incentivised to go into pvp rather than try to make friends since most of the fun i get is from pvp
@@ghostoastt yup, one gets a heli and does 3 towers, other gets a car and does 2. Both start at the same time by activating one. That one was actually veeeery easy.
I would love to see a situation where in the last couple of minutes it goes pve only. Once the final extract sets off....you cannot kill another operator.....but all must work together against mass waves of AI enemies.
@@drewmac4046 Its only tense sometimes though isnt it? Sometimes you are the last ones left. So you just jump on and that's it. A lot of people wont wait for the last one due to the fact it could be tense. Creating a situation where it is always tense....through PvE.....should create more of those moments. It should be possible to scale it by how many are left. So more AI for 9 people left than for 2 people left etc...

Make them any easier and they become completely pointless and it would seriously detract from the mode. For it to have longevity....they cannot get any easier.
You might know this already, but when you tried bomb droning the chopper at the start and you said "they destroyed it", bomb drones auto die if you get too close to exfil choppers!

Tip for next time, invites only work in a small radius I think 10m, you guys were sending eachothers invites from what was visually more 10meters thats why you didnt see the invite 🤫 also you had a 3plate in your bag you shouldve just given it to the guy who joined since it was going to waste anyway
sometimes i myself forget about that, usually if i see or hear another player around me, i’ll say “friendly friendly” but if they wanna fight i’ll fight them, i usually try not to fight other players

I fully support a pve mode like division is going to do with their looter coming out. 2 modes for both player tastes. It does suck on those days where it seems like ppl just exfil camp up high with sniper rifles after u do so much to try to tackle a mission. I would play both but its nothing like going on solo and battling AI. Just keep the ai stout and add some more specialty type/area specific ai for pve
Honestly, I really think they should just do an open world Spec Ops mode in Al-Mazrah again. Give it its own campaign with its own set of missions. Like Ghost Recon: Wildlands. I love the Al-Mazrah map I'm just not fond of PVP. I don't have the time, patience or skill for it anymore.

While I don't mind a bit of pvp .. I get tired of the tryhardness, and racial shi. Sometimes ppl just hearing my voice triggers, "what's up peanut" ... and endless barrages of the N word. I'm 40 and I don't feel like dealing with mfs talking down in a safe place anymore saying shi they would never say in 3d.

Dmz has always been about pvp for me. My goal is to make sure no one leaves alive. Go in solo and see how many squads I can take with me before time is up
When you plead for help you can spectate your dead body. I'v found it useful to see if enemy operators are still lurking around my body or have moved on. It doesn't last forever but just a word of caution. I've been forcing myself not to play any more COD until s2 drops. Wednesday can't come soon enough
See when the other people in the game are doing that boat mission I think it should be an unwritten agreement that u let them by and they do the same so they can complete the mission as nothing worse the geting 3rd parted when ur trying to dyrtoy the thing that comes after u and somtimes It makes u fall out the boat and ur team afto come back and get u just a suggestion

I understand when is needed for final missions or whatnot but there are contracts for that as well, and not neccesarilly means ruin everybody’s half waly contracts like the cargo and such, you could potentially be more community based if u would just go for Hunt squads, or others that are particularly hunting as well, but ruinning other’s runs like meddling in half way done contracts is plainly a dick move
I enjoy the PVP battles when they happen in DMZ. I love PVP in general. But really so much of it isn't really a battle it's just whoever is most distracted by AI/mission/etc getting killed without any real chance. This just makes it to where everyone kills everyone on sight. I don't know exactly how to make it better, but I know it could be better.
I miss playing in the morning/early afternoons before this past winter break. It used to be all shift workers killing time before/after work, then 3pm est when the kids got out, it turned into a murder monkey fest. Now, ever since the murder monkeys were online at all times of the day for winter break, everyone kills and thirsts first, asks questions later
I hope there are a mix of DMZ Tier 5 missions where it can say the following: "Kill 100 ai enemies in one deployment with the FTAC Recon with a 5-Round Mag and canted laser sight attachments while you are not in a squad.". Something like that which will avoid most of the PVP problems. However, the blog and updates give the signal that Tier 4 and Tier 5 missions would unfortunately be mostly the same.
This is actually a great idea. Also add DMZ TIer 5 missions like Destroy 20+ reinforcement helicopters with a specific gun or something. They should really lessen missions that force players to do pvp in dmz -__-

Or select whether I take my 3 plate carrier with me. Because some missions I dont need them and I dont want to lose them, since recovering from that as a solo is too much work everytime. They should put in like a scavenger mode for players going in solo against trios. I like the pvp aspect as well, so my first comment may have lacked context.
PvP would be balanced if I wasn't getting sniped at spawn. Weather effects that seriously hamper snipers and long range combat every couple of rounds would create a more diverse combat environment. Rain and night time would encourage shorter range gear sets and cqb.

I needed one more tag for a mission with my kid who is new to gaming and not amazing at PVP and we camped a body in hotel room 302 for an embarrassing amount of time. I'm not proud, but I just figured I get to avoid one more match that I have to focus on killing other players. I find the PVP in DMZ to often be the least fun part of the experience and so often just involves killing unsuspecting players as they try to fight off AI.

Its like DMZ is full of greifers trying to stop ppl from doing missions now. Even without the missions, they just kill immediatly. Ppl go outta thier way to kills solo and teams. Ppl think DMZ is Warzone with objectives.
I think once they decrease the AI amount, this game mode is going to be awesome. They just have to find purpose for extraction. something we can be proud of or use like a store.
I’ve been killed by so many teams. Some blatant about it, some asking me to join then blasting me as I get close. Some chasing me down in cars… life is hell as a solo player. Now I plan, separate and execute when I see players. Rarely will I join anyone

5:31 when you hit the AI the vehicle was dragged towards them like you were stuck on their body. Same thing happened to me with AI running to my right while driving, vehicle changed direction by about 50 degrees. Seems like some coding issues from the newest update.
You need a team of three and a helo. Do the first two after each other with one jumping down and pick him up. The last three everyone jumping out and so them asap.
As a new DMZ player I always play solo. My favorite is when I was trying to just complete the exvile mission done and some douche bag murdered me and gained absolutely nothing except the kill
This is not about Westie and Stodhi who are great players and gentlemen. But, this is the problem I have with DMZ. I do not play Warzone because I play solo and quite frankly I don't spend enough time playing to be a competent player. DMZ is the SAME thing as Warzone but with missions. The last time I played solo, of the 8 missions I played I was killed by other 3-4 man teams 5 times. Teams that went out of their way to kill me. From my perspective it was NOT fun. The problem is that when I've said this in the past all I get from other players is "Git gud" or some other even more rude comments. Why should I spend my time and money to play a game where I cannot do anything without dying AND get insulted? I am out. I will not spend another dime on Call of Duty or streamers.
I am relentless in DMZ. I do not care who I kill anymore I don’t feel bad. I trusted so many ppl and gotten fucked so bad. My breaking point was when I was fully loaded out max exfil streak and I got killed as the other player realized he needed 1 more operator kill for the “mall rats” mission. I even let them loot with me because I had a key 😊😊😊😊😊
Dmz was entertaining for the first exfil. After that it's boring trying to fight enemies who shoot you through walls, losing all your shit and having to wait to get your guns back.

Let me tell you all: There is nothing after you finished the last mission besides the abyss of knowing how many operators the game made you kill. Quite dissapointing that there is not even a calling card as reward - 580hrs :D
This is why I refuse to play DMZ or even redownload it. It was hard enough trying to get the M13 only for a bunch of players to be camping the extraction point. But now this. Screw it I'll just buy the M13 and Chimera.

Agree... that it's inevitable for current tier 5... bit crappy IMO... PvP.. isn't that why we play Warzone? ( just my opinion, don't flame me)... perhaps DMZ should be a little different... but also not beholden to complete missions by collecting rubbish, like lightbulbs etc... not an easy balance to get right for sure.
If the new missions are bland, they could at least make up for it with some cutscenes at the end of the tiers or some actual worth while rewards rather than generic stuff people don’t care about
I just started dmz and have a hard time telling real from fake players, I never down anyone intentionally and if I do I let them self and drop all mu cash for them .... but nobody shows the same courtesy. Plus I always play solo so I lose all my stuff it's not a great time :(
It's honestly really truely disappointing. After years of not being able to keep up in COD multiplayer or Warzone, I finally found a game mode that was fun to play. But now every time I play it's always just ruined by players hunting operators.
PvP is fine. Those fights that happen instantly after you spawn in are not. Killing other operators is fine. Camping an exfil, however, is pathetic and scummy. I don't take issue with PvP, I take issue with ratty scrubs.
I played 3 games with my friend last night and the first game we got killed by a enemy team within 3 mins of spawning in. Next game 5 mins and finally 3rd game 12-13 mins. I just deleted MW2 after that
theres maybe 4 required pvp missions out of over 100 to do all 5 tiers of all 3 factions and yet still wet wipes will cry that youre killing players in a pvp game mode
Because not all of us enjoy having to hunt down other operators. PvP encounters add a lot to the game. But if we wanted to be forced into it we'd just play Warzone or multi-player.
Right, that's the point. There are so many missions that don't involve killing players but instead of doing those, you got the absolute morons out there spawn killing, exfil camping, cheating and such that it ruins the intent of the mode. An intense gunfight with players is fun (even when you lose) when it happens organically in the context of the game. Stupid people doing stupid things is never fun.

I think Infinity Ward is missing out on an opportunity here. Alot of players have more frustration than fun with pvp in dmz. They could make a solo 1-3 man team DMZ mode, with no pvp. Keeping the oringal DMZ. Or honestly just make DMZ private servers a thing. More broken games like fallout 76 have been doing it for years, and charging a monthly subscription fee. For players who got tired of being grieved but still enjoy the game. There is obviously a skill gap with pvp, players using aimbot/hacks, the broken swarming AI gets daunting. Especially for a solo player or newer player going against a 3-6 man team, even if they are the same skill level. Fighting through a mission to only get exfil camped by a team gets annoying real quick. If anything it would be a win win for Infinity Ward. Keeping more players playing and enjoying the game. Plus possibly making even more money. Which they have no opposition to a cash grab

Yeah, people need to calm down once completing missions matters again. In the meantime, I stockpiled other player's weapons with full attachments for Wednesday's new season.
Because the weapon and mission wipe is coming everyone is just there to kill players. Heck even I did it every game, heading for the closest spawn. Hopefully next season will get back to missions/pvp

You could still send a request to join the team from a distance. If they accept, then you can safely go around them (and maybe their cluster mines).

after about 30 warzone games i got my second win with almost 15 kills in a duo game and i got shadow banned for 2 weeks

How we got roof rat done lol felt bad but had to do it...they were going by on the boat getting chased by the heli and lit em up too

@@zgspade hmm I understand what you’re saying. Let me put it like this then: When going solo I would like to select whether I take my big backpack with me. Or select whether I take my 3 plate carrier with me. Because some missions I dont need them and I dont want to lose them, since recovering from that as a solo is too much work everytime. They should put in like a scavenger mode for players going in solo against trios. I like the pvp aspect as well, so my first comment may have lacked context.

PvP would be balanced if I wasn't getting sniped at spawn. Weather effects that seriously hamper snipers and long range combat every couple of rounds would create a more diverse combat environment. Rain and night time would encourage shorter range gear sets and cqb.

I needed one more tag for a mission with my kid who is new to gaming and not amazing at PVP and we camped a body in hotel room 302 for an embarrassing amount of time. I'm not proud, but I just figured I get to avoid one more match that I have to focus on killing other players. I find the PVP in DMZ to often be the least fun part of the experience and so often just involves killing unsuspecting players as they try to fight off AI.

I think once they decrease the AI amount, this game mode is going to be awesome. They just have to find purpose for extraction. something we can be proud of or use like a store.

There should be more insensitive not to kill everyone you see. More missions based on being cooperative with other players instead of just PvP
I wouldn't be surprised if they do that in a future season. Though some people would probably cry about the lack of PvP missions still.

I’ve been killed by so many teams. Some blatant about it, some asking me to join then blasting me as I get close. Some chasing me down in cars… life is hell as a solo player. Now I plan, separate and execute when I see players. Rarely will I join anyone

5:31 when you hit the AI the vehicle was dragged towards them like you were stuck on their body. Same thing happened to me with AI running to my right while driving, vehicle changed direction by about 50 degrees. Seems like some coding issues from the newest update.

Oh good god, just when I'm still struggling to do some of the Tier 3 missions. The 5 uav towers is gonna be impossive, managed most contracts so far.
You need a team of three and a helo. Do the first two after each other with one jumping down and pick him up. The last three everyone jumping out and so them asap.

As a new DMZ player I always play solo. My favorite is when I was trying to just complete the exvile mission done and some douche bag murdered me and gained absolutely nothing except the kill

This is not about Westie and Stodhi who are great players and gentlemen. But, this is the problem I have with DMZ. I do not play Warzone because I play solo and quite frankly I don't spend enough time playing to be a competent player. DMZ is the SAME thing as Warzone but with missions. The last time I played solo, of the 8 missions I played I was killed by other 3-4 man teams 5 times. Teams that went out of their way to kill me. From my perspective it was NOT fun. The problem is that when I've said this in the past all I get from other players is "Git gud" or some other even more rude comments. Why should I spend my time and money to play a game where I cannot do anything without dying AND get insulted? I am out. I will not spend another dime on Call of Duty or streamers.
I am relentless in DMZ. I do not care who I kill anymore I don’t feel bad. I trusted so many ppl and gotten fucked so bad. My breaking point was when I was fully loaded out max exfil streak and I got killed as the other player realized he needed 1 more operator kill for the “mall rats” mission. I even let them loot with me because I had a key 😊😊😊😊😊
What I want to know is where do I find people to play DMZ like this. Great gameplay
Dmz was entertaining for the first exfil. After that it's boring trying to fight enemies who shoot you through walls, losing all your shit and having to wait to get your guns back.

Let me tell you all: There is nothing after you finished the last mission besides the abyss of knowing how many operators the game made you kill. Quite dissapointing that there is not even a calling card as reward - 580hrs :D
This is why I refuse to play DMZ or even redownload it.
It was hard enough trying to get the M13 only for a bunch of players to be camping the extraction point.

Agree... that it's inevitable for current tier 5... bit crappy IMO... PvP.. isn't that why we play Warzone? ( just my opinion, don't flame me)... perhaps DMZ should be a little different... but also not beholden to complete missions by collecting rubbish, like lightbulbs etc... not an easy balance to get right for sure.
Yeah. You know the missions are uninspired when they're just a combination of fetch quests and pvp.
If the new missions are bland, they could at least make up for it with some cutscenes at the end of the tiers or some actual worth while rewards rather than generic stuff people don’t care about

I just started dmz and have a hard time telling real from fake players, I never down anyone intentionally and if I do I let them self and drop all mu cash for them .... but nobody shows the same courtesy. Plus I always play solo so I lose all my stuff it's not a great time :(

It's honestly really truely disappointing. After years of not being able to keep up in COD multiplayer or Warzone, I finally found a game mode that was fun to play. But now every time I play it's always just ruined by players hunting operators.
PvP is fine.
Those fights that happen instantly after you spawn in are not.
Killing other operators is fine.
Camping an exfil, however, is pathetic and scummy.
I don't take issue with PvP, I take issue with ratty scrubs.
I played 3 games with my friend last night and the first game we got killed by a enemy team within 3 mins of spawning in. Next game 5 mins and finally 3rd game 12-13 mins. I just deleted MW2 after that
theres maybe 4 required pvp missions out of over 100 to do all 5 tiers of all 3 factions and yet still wet wipes will cry that youre killing players in a pvp game mode
Because not all of us enjoy having to hunt down other operators. PvP encounters add a lot to the game. But if we wanted to be forced into it we'd just play Warzone or multi-player.
Right, that's the point. There are so many missions that don't involve killing players but instead of doing those, you got the absolute morons out there spawn killing, exfil camping, cheating and such that it ruins the intent of the mode. An intense gunfight with players is fun (even when you lose) when it happens organically in the context of the game. Stupid people doing stupid things is never fun.

I had about 8-10 people in the final extract just casually joining ither teams and having fun waiting for the helicopter to leave.
Lots more PVP but if you’re running silenced weapons and pick your shots you can get a lot done undetected. Metal Gear DMZ.

I think Infinity Ward is missing out on an opportunity here. Alot of players have more frustration than fun with pvp in dmz. They could make a solo 1-3 man team DMZ mode, with no pvp. Keeping the oringal DMZ. Or honestly just make DMZ private servers a thing.
More broken games like fallout 76 have been doing it for years, and charging a monthly subscription fee. For players who got tired of being grieved but still enjoy the game.
There is obviously a skill gap with pvp, players using aimbot/hacks, the broken swarming AI gets daunting. Especially for a solo player or newer player going against a 3-6 man team, even if they are the same skill level. Fighting through a mission to only get exfil camped by a team gets annoying real quick.
If anything it would be a win win for Infinity Ward. Keeping more players playing and enjoying the game. Plus possibly making even more money. Which they have no opposition to a cash grab
