I used French vermilion, mineral violet, viridian hue and ultramarine blue deep, but use any colours you like!

Hi Lois, I am enjoying your beautiful floral watercolors, so glad to have found you! Years ago, when I taught stained glass classes, our shop also began to explore "warm glass"/"fused glass" -- generally colorful glass objects such as bowls and platters. Hake brushes are a necessary part of the process and we sold them in a few different sizes. If you search online for vendors who specialize in fused glass supplies, you should be able to find hake brushes. ~Debbie

Haik brushes can be purchased at Stained Glass supply stores. Delphi Glass carries them. So does AAE Glass.

Lovely painting, I think all florals should be loosely painted- they’re much more expressive! I’ve noticed you using that calligraphy brush often. Looks like it hold a lot of water and makes very fine lines. I’m looking for something like that, as I’m not always satisfied with riggers.
Thanks so much Barbara, I’m really chuffed with how things are going. I love my calligraphy brushes, especially the small ones, they do hold a lot of water and if you get one with a good point, you can paint really fine hair lines with practice. Mine are cheap EBay ones from China, highly recommended
Lovely painting. I have some Bockingford paper, do you think it would be ok?
It should e fine, it may buckle a bit but if you wet it evenly to start with it should flatten as it dries
