Oh man I missed that sale! A stir fry is not as great without the crunch of water chestnuts. It is one of those things that I have stocked up for winter in the past!

I love when you have a new video! I think I told you that your energy is contagious and makes me stop moping like it's a bad day. 😅 Also, loving the challenge! Fried rice is something we do once a week cause my 2 year old grandson always wants fried rice. I can get in veggies and eggs into his belly! 😊

Fried ricebis a pretty popular item around here for sure. I will admit, it had been a while since I had been to the store, but there were a lot of things decently priced. Thank you for watching 😃

Thanks for the video, that looks great! I just harvested a gourd so I’ll have to try it in some fried rice.
I recently learned that cooked and cooled rice is better for blood sugar than if you eat it right after it’s first cooked. It is true even if you heat it up again. The starches change and become non-digestible. Hope you find that as interesting as I did!

I have heard that as well and we tried it with pasta and potatoes and it makes a huge difference to my readings. Still higher then they should be, so I have to really watch the portions, but I haven't tried it with rice. I am going to now as that it a perfect way to cook it again as fried rice. Thank you for the tip 😀
