- Two retro Spider-Man games I still consider to be some of the best in the superhero genre.

I remember struggling with this game as a kid. But over time as I kept playing, I eventually managed to beat it.
It’s still one of my favorite Spider-Man games to this day
Now these are two great hero games, apparently they were two more that did the same style like the first two, the first one was on the GBC simply called Spider-Man which had lizard and hobgoblin as bosses, it also had the same story but told in a different way. the second one is on the GBA called Spider-man Mysterio’s menace, and just like shattered dimensions he’s the final boss, the only new boss in the GBA was a goofy villain named Big Wheel.
The GBC game was just the Game Boy version of the original, but Mysterio's Menace on the GBA is actually a sequel to Enter Electro. So technically, I guess its the third game. But I don't usually cover handheld games on my channel. Very few did much to stand out from their console counterparts. At least back then lol.
I'd give anything to see a third and final game in this series especially if it culminated in a showdown with the Green Goblin. I know there are the hand-held games but they aren't the same.
Such a underrated game in my opinion
As the years go on and video games get more advanced, I think they'll be slowly forgotten about. Its just what happens...
@@ChannelNerdgasm yeah that’s true and you’re right about that
I try my best to shed light on superhero games new and old on here though. Keep them all alive lol
@@ChannelNerdgasm I can understand that
One thing I like about those games is that their stories seem faithful to early comics and even cartoons. Simple, but enjoyable. The current games, on the other hand, although their gameplay and graphics have improved a lot, I didn't like their stories and the way they handled the characters, especially MJ, Black Cat, and some of the villains like Kraven. It's like they want to make them as edgy as possible, as if they came out of Zack Snyder's movies.
Yeah the PS1 games are very cartoon-like. They don't take themselves too seriously.
Wow this was awesome. Again bud, your content is just straight badass.
I've got a question regarding your patreon account. Would it be possible to donate and request different kinds of videos, namely collaborations? I know you're a very busy man but I'd be willing to pitch some money your way if it would mean we could do some kind of project together.
Not trying to be forward or a pest but I'm just such a big fan.
@@jacksonknightproductions8697 You're not being a pest lol. I just don't know if I have the time to take on a collaboration project - with anybody - right now. It'd have to be the right topic. The right kind of video too. My stuff is usually V.O. over top of game footage/comic images. So I dunno. I'd say the only possibility would be like a game review of some kind? But again, I have no clue what it could be on or if I'd have the time to work out all the details with you. You did a recent Jurassic Park video? There's a survival horror game coming out in the next year or so set after the first film I think? I have plans to cover it. If we ever did colab, I also couldn't offer you any money for your time. My channel makes barely anything. All you'd get is exposure. We'd be on the same boat there...
@@ChannelNerdgasm I'm not asking for any money, nor am I concerned in the slightest about exposure. I just would really do some kind of joint effort. I would though prefer if we did a movie related vid as I am an extremely minor and casual gamer.
You have alluded several times that you are a big film collector so maybe that could be a new avenue to expand your channel with.
And also to be fair, if we did something on my channel it would be very simple. All I do for my guests is send them a link on Streamyard and we just talk mostly unscripted
I was a big collector yeah. I have hundreds of films from all eras and genres. Problem is, its a hobby that has taken a backseat for the past many years because of all the superhero stuff I do for my channel. That's why I started up that podcast to try to talk about a few more things outside of just what I do on the channel. But I even put that on hold because of time. If my channel got bigger and I could invest more hours into it - cut back on my day job that eats up most of my time/energy, I would definitely bring the podcast back, make it in video form on top of audio, and get a co-host/have frequent guests to bounce thoughts off of. There are so many films and franchises I could spend hours breaking down - especially in the realms of science fiction and horror. I just haven't opened that can of worms on here because it'd probably alienate my current audience.
@@ChannelNerdgasm well I can understand that. All the more reason to do a collaboration on my channel though as I'm very film centric. I've been thinking about reviewing Logan 2017 and Batman The Dark Knight Returns for a little while, especially since I have the first volume of Old Man Logan, but I haven't gotten it started cause im wanting to get the perfect guest. But to be honest, I don't think you should worry about alienating your fans. It's your channel, so you make your own rules. If you wanna do film stuff, there's nothing stopping you. Sometimes projects need a little bit of time to find their own audience, which is perfectly fine.
But I'll let you be, and just continue watching your content. Just keep putting out banging stuff
