  • At SEMA 2018, Factory Five built a Type 65 Coupe live at the show in three days! Friday morning, day 4 of the show, FFR President Dave Smith took the car out to the drift ring in the Ford Out Front area with PowerNation TV host Katie Osborne.

This really does speak the why these make such good track cars. Even when you try to make this car go sideways it doesn't want to. You can watch it and see it just want to snap back in line.

@@jonnyboym72 yeah, you would have done much better! In a brand new build, first time its ever been driven, long before any of the real sorting out has even begun. Yup. You're the best

A bit of understeer but not bad from a 3 day build! That can be adjusted out. ;)

You guys should have a well known auto journalist like Chris Harris or someone of sorts to review your platforms in a handling perspective, it's hard to consider cars like this when there's no comparisons to where it falls in the production car section, track times show its fast, but how dynamic is the set up? Also, I've heard anyone over six feet has a hard time fitting in the 818 coupe, is there any way to resolve this? I like the idea of the small, nimble platform, but it's hard to enjoy something when you don't fit in it lol. Sweet products tho, glad to see there's at least options for building your own car without having to spend over 100g on a "base" or fork out more than that for what is essentially a kit car with a small amount of r&d

That’s not a drift, it’s just a 2tone pos fiber glass siting on big engine spinning wheels . That’s all it is . This company is pathetic ... .

And you gave them money when you watched the video. They had the last laugh, while you look like a child throwing a tantrum.

The company makes kit cars, meaning people build them in their garage. I have spent 100x or more the hours working on it than I will driving it. What is there to hate about individual craftsmanship? Are you serious? You really just look like an A$$
