I love the attack with a high line, but to recover on a counter attack. We don’t have fast players who can recover the ball, or stop the attack. I’m a barca fan since i was 11 years old. And trust me i know how football is, and we’ll be hurt when a big team comes along if we don’t fix this

Raphina taking his captaincy seriously should be noted. He advocated for his colleague and did it without his usual temper tantrums. He's taken this new squad role and showing a great amount of heart with it.

In the last league match when we scored he actually made some space for a couple of bench players to join the celebration. That made me think he is serious about the captaincy and trying to set an example.

I am happy that Raphinha shows everyone what he's capable of. Under Xavi he was a shadow of the player he is now. He has high confidence in himself and the rest of team which is very different from last season. He truly shines under Hansi. And he has a real team captain attitude.

The fact barca played 80 minutes mid week with 10 men in a competitive cl game and Villarreal on the other hand had no match and a full weeks rest on us makes this result,performance,attitude all the more impressive imo incredible coaching by hansi flick so far and also by the team.

- Marc Casasdo screaming at Pau Victor to press (high up the pitch) in the 94th minute...shows me how mentality has changed for this team and especially how important marc casado is for this team atm. When him and cubarsi came off the bench the game felt completely different from the 60 we saw before it.

Ter stegen's injury very much overshadows this win. All I can say is I hope those who criticized him are happy. What chance do you realistically think we have to compete at the highest level without our number 1? This is probably the worst thing that could happen to our team not having a world class goal keeper for the rest of the season. This man has singlehandedly saved us from being a mid table team a few years back under Koeman and was a huge reason why we had statistically the best defense in Europe in 2023 (just seven goals in 20 league games). How do we expect to compete at the highest level with another major injury :/

Being named an assistant captain and getting the chance (though through unfortunate circumstances) to wear the captain band has brought a lot of maturity to Raphina. After Yamal, he's the next most influential player on the pitch. Seeing him chase the ball down with full vigor at the 90 minute mark got me really smiling about the change Hansi has brought to the club.
Also the refs weren't bad, but they were not the best.
Lamine penalty was a no brainer. Had to had been called as soon as it happened.
Also villarreal should have gotten a red card on the chop on Lamine Yamal. He kicked him above the knee! How VAR didn't ask for a look is astounding!

I, have been watching football since 1998 and I have never seen a 17 year old who plays with such maturity like Yamal, excellent footballer.
I surely don't know what sort of magic portions Flick is using. Last season, we had a more healthy team than now and couldn't find goals. But Flick is really showing how good he is as a coach. He's getting the best out of what we all thought couldn't be of this team. Imagine he gets all the players fit, what a monster team that would be🥶
Last season we were just taunting the opponent's goal post from a safe distance (that's Xavi's doing). Now we're actually attacking the goal post. Many times in a game!
