The whole "Inside" series is awesome. I get to use these videos in explaining how the actions function on different weapons. I'm an engineer - and the tech geek inside me wants to know the frame rate you used at the slow-motion and super-slow-motion. Very impressive amount of flex of the rifle during the shot!
can you explain me the changing handle dont connect with bolt and it dont move when gun fire but when we pull it back bolt move back and return by recoil spring. so where is it connect?
Whoever does your video work is awesome. This clip looks more like art than an educational video. Even the use of the sound effects adds to the image as art. As a long time fan of the FAL you have shown it to me in a new light. Thank You.
Love the videos man. If I could make one suggestion though would to make videos from time about your time in the military. A lot of us fans loved the one video you did which talked about your service and I think a lot of fans would love to see again.
The Slow Motion showing the bolt blowback, spent casing extraction & chambering the next round is AWESOMENESS.., to the MAX! THX, Larry. I appreciate what do for Americans everywhere...
i love the FAL! i had a sweet shooting CAI built on an Imbel receiver and a L1A1 parts kit that was just a cream puff! i mounted a reasonably priced but decent quality B-square scope mount with a, uh umm, budget 3-9x optic and went at it! with good Portuguese or South African surplus 147 gr ammo it would put 3 rounds into 1.5" or less at 100 yds and with its favorite match load i managed an occasional .9" group! almost unheard of for FALs as i understand it. and it was 100% reliable. not a single bobble once i learned how to properly adjust the gas system. it functioned fine on #3 but i gave it one more click to #4 and it ran like a sewing machine through more than 3,000 rds and stacked the cases in a neat pile about 5' to my 3 to 4 O' clock.it dinged the case mouths but back then i was buying surplus 200-rd battlepacks for $40 to $50. no reloading necessary. and the best part? i only paid $600 for it in 2001! unfortunately i fell on hard times a handful of years later and i had to sell her. ive beaten myself up ever since especially since i cant replace it for anything close to what i paid for it and even if i go bucks up for a super sweet new DSA SA58, i doubt it would shoot as well as my old beater rifle. man, if i could turn back time!

Muito bom!! Atirei muito com o FAL no Exército Brasileiro.. Abraço.. Go U.S. Army Go Vickers Tactical
Oh man, best video yet Larry! The FAL is one of my all time favorite battle rifles. The camera shot from the top of the gun looking in on the actuating bolt is superb! Keep'em coming.
Great video on the FN FAL! We make a 20 round polymer magazine for the FAL. So, obviously we're a huge fan of the platform. The FAL and 7.62 x 51 in general doesn't get the respect we think it should in this "One Nation United Under AR."
excellent work! I love this idea of exposing the innards of the gun while firing it. Please continue making these kinds of videos, adding more weapon variety and filming in 60fps and it's perfect!
Who would give this a thumbs down? Amazing slow motion video, I love this stuff. Reminded me of a sewing machine, sounded really nice too! Thanks for the bag of awesome sir!
The quality of your videos are insane!!! Just one question, how come you don't upload in 60 fps? I'm drooling just thinking about watching this vid in 1080p 60 fps.
I have a lot of respect for the soldiers who made use of this beastly weapon. It's long, it's heavy, it's cumbersome, but the Brits, the Rhodies, and others wielded it with deadly impunity.
With your skills of cutting and editing, I swear you could apply for a job at Hollywood... even the effects that you include are marvellous!! Just wow... really... with Best regards from Switzerland.
Excellent video that gives an outstanding perspective on what's really going on. Thanks for all your time, effort and expertise. Its truly appreciated. Salute!
Holy buckets that's a fast cyclic rate!! As always, VERY cool video! It'd be great to have an in depth look at the history and design features of the FAL on your channel. God Bless.
This video is an absolute masterpiece!!! Every coin used to make it worth the expense! Thanks a lot for sharing ! God Bless America and the good old awesome times and FN !
Take a full auto m14 and put it in a cut away stock. The barrel band latches on to the top of the stock, so to keep the trigger and receiver together you might need to keep the left side of the forend, but the right side could be removed to show the op-rod slamming back and forth. You could probably also make a hole to show the trigger work.
such an awesome rifle. I know a guy who has one and I'm just waiting for the right moment to ask if he would like to part with it. great video as always.
Since when did RUclips allow pornographic content to be uploaded??
rassi13 Sooo sad! and immature!
***** ok, mouth open, now what tough guy?
Moe Joe U WOT M8?!?!? fook uff
GUNSnTUNES THE GUN ISS FOOKEN RAWWWWWW
+rassi13 So orgasmic........ ahhh lol
I rally like the when they shoot them without the cover on. You can really see the machinery at work
Man I could watch 20 minutes of this.
A great enforcement of the fn fal!
@@patriot17764th Dieudonné Saive was a genius, FN Falo & Fal 1946
*unglaublicher Fehler*
It's...so...beautiful...

Probably 4k 100,000 fps or close to it.

I loved the footage on this. Totally awesome shots of the FN FAL.
Whoever does your video work is awesome. This clip looks more like art than an educational video. Even the use of the sound effects adds to the image as art. As a long time fan of the FAL you have shown it to me in a new light. Thank You.
0:55 was so mesmerizing! I could watch firearms function in slow motion all day.
Oh man watching that piston was the best.
thats what she said
Nobody brings this stuff to us better than LAV. Awesome.
the fact that the fal and ak can operate without there dust covers is just fucking sexy it's like a woman dancing without her top on lmfao
Love the videos man. If I could make one suggestion though would to make videos from time about your time in the military. A lot of us fans loved the one video you did which talked about your service and I think a lot of fans would love to see again.

I normally hate slow motion in gun videos, but these are amazing and show awesome detail on how it works.
I love these videos! MOAR! The sounds are fantastic. Slow mo is the best.
I'd love to just see the raw footage. Upload all that stuff to it's own channel and let us watch it uncut.
Awesome
The slow motion shots of all of the parts in action (piston and everything) is just art and science at its best.
The slowmo’s are everything for this channel 🤘😮
These slow motion shots are just insanely good, and that Audio! Excellent work guys, excellent.
You mean to tell us that pistons acting on the bolt are not a modern invention?
David Dale AR fanboys would have you think that.
David Dale Depends entirely on how you define 'modern.'
*picking tongue up off of floor* can't get enough of this guy's slow mo...incredible camera work!!
That was beautiful! Watching the gun cycle in slow-mo was almost therapeutic! Stunning firearm!
The beauty of this mechanical operation is just mindblowing. awesome slowmo . watching this vid. since it came out
Amazing cinematography!!! can't believe you're not youtube verified yet!! Awesome videos!!!
The production quality of your videos is astonishing! Keep the great work up, guys.

The video is awesome. So proud my grandfather used the FN fal in the army. That thing saved his life.
It's awesome seeing the rod in action pushing the bolt back. Thanks for another amazing video.
I have loved all the inner working slo-mo's you've done so far. Keep it up
Oh man, best video yet Larry! The FAL is one of my all time favorite battle rifles. The camera shot from the top of the gun looking in on the actuating bolt is superb! Keep'em coming.
I've owned an L1A1 for years. I have never seen an FAL function like this. Very nice work Larry!
Just an brilliant design.. I had never seen one filmed this way.. I think I need one..
Fastflyingpigs one of the very best of the "Battle Rifle" era
I really like your "Inside a gun" Videos. You definitely got what the viewers are looking for!
this video is so soothing and relaxing.
i could watch this for hours.

That video ROCKED!!! Larry's hi-speed camera footage is the BEST!! AWESOME rifle & great video... Thanks Larry!!!
That was like injecting pure uncut Fal in to my vien. Awesome video. Seriously!
FANTASTIC RIFLE the FN FAL! Saved allot of Aussie lives at the Battle of Long Tan in Vietnam.
Just love those slo-mo shots
Always a solid video I watch it every time it pops up in my recommendations list
Talk about salivating to the point of drooling lol just simply wonderful.
I wonder why this channel doesn't have many suscribers.
The video are good, and the explanation from larry is much easier to understand.

The FN FAL is one of my favorites, great video!
Love how you guys make the vids in slowmo...so nice
So awesome! I always love VT's Slo-mo footage on the action!
I have a lot of respect for the soldiers who made use of this beastly weapon. It's long, it's heavy, it's cumbersome, but the Brits, the Rhodies, and others wielded it with deadly impunity.
FN Fal 4 KG
Heavy, cumbersome, 100% deadly...Not like 5.56mm....Afghanistan engagements would have been very different, if 7.62mm was standard issue.
The camera work in this is phenomenal.
Such epic sound design!
Thanks Larry, I love your videos!
My favorite video ever!❤️❤️❤️ The beauty of the gas powered rifles
Keep these videos going. PLEASE!
Another awesome video, love the slow motion 👍👍💪💪
With your skills of cutting and editing, I swear you could apply for a job at Hollywood... even the effects that you include are marvellous!! Just wow... really... with Best regards from Switzerland.

Used the Canadian version for at least 20 of my 35 yrs in service Very robust and reliable firearm! Loved it for it's hard hitting 308!
I enjoy all of your videos, Larry, but that one was bad ass!
Oh my goodness gracious.... Please make an 8 hour loop of this I can listen to/watch at work. (Earbud in of course.) 😂
Holy buckets that's a fast cyclic rate!! As always, VERY cool video! It'd be great to have an in depth look at the history and design features of the FAL on your channel. God Bless.

Interesting to see this in use with the top cover off
That was really awesome, I love the FAL
That was beautiful!
think i speak for everyone when i say we want way more inside look videos. Larry make it happen.
Thanks for sharing this awesome footage !
I used exactly this version of FAL with a 4x scope on top. It's one of the most exciting guns I've used so far.
Love your slo-mos showing how everything works! Must be a sweet camera you guys have
This video is an absolute masterpiece!!! Every coin used to make it worth the expense! Thanks a lot for sharing ! God Bless America and the good old awesome times and FN !
The power of a Battle Rifle in slow motion pretty amazing! !!
Take a full auto m14 and put it in a cut away stock. So, the FN FAL has a short stroke gas piston system like the vz58 or FN SCAR. Cool!
Video is awesome, AKs videos were indeed the best
many thanks for this super video.super camera-work.regards from the Netherlands.Ben.
Awesome set of videos, this style
such an awesome rifle. I know a guy who has one and I'm just waiting for the right moment to ask if he would like to part with it. great video as always.
The FN FAL such an underrated firearm.
I fucking love this beast of a video. Do more please. Try to extend to military vehicles as well.
Proud to serve my country with this beast!!!
