Thank you for showing us how to do this. I bought plants at the hardware store and picked out ones that had 2 and 3 plants where there should be one. 5 for the price of 2 lol. I hope i did it right. ❤ i used my own mix of topsoil and compost.
Great video! It rained most of the day down here in Olympia, so I spent time "in the garden" by repotting seedlings into larger pots and giving some other seedlings some worm casting tea.
Thank you, Chris! I started some ginger again, too! Remember, to change the water daily or every two days to prevent bacteria growth. You can also plant them directly in well draining soil, just keep it moist. Thanks for watching! Misilla Yes planting tomato suckers are great too!
Chiltepin peppers did really well for me here in Everett! I love them. Especially with Cambodian foods! Yummy. Cant wait to see what you get. I'm super late on everything so had to get some starts also. I did find some cucamelons from home depot this year :)
U make it look easy maybe my experience is with larger plants but at the end of the day it has never turned out...but maybe the size of plant is also key
Hi Brian, I think it’s easier to handle little seedlings with bare hands, for me at least...I wear gloves on occasion, but seems better without them handling small plants...just practice. 😊Have a great week! Misilla
I have come across some peppers that actually will shoot out roots in the region your describe Misilla. Here I have been able to seed some of the early season or cooler greens over the last couple of days. With the Full Moon this week, still a good chance for frost or freezing temps below 32. Have you come across any of those honey bee killing hornets there yet? Hope you and your family are Staying Safe and Healthy. Happy Gardening! -Bob...
I noticed the temperature drop this past couple of days! Oh my gosh those hornet are huge! They’re supposedly here in Washington, if I spot any I’ll have to take pictures or a video lol , but I have to be careful though of course! Glad to hear your garden is coming along. Have a good week and take care too! 😊
I think they will be okay as long as most of the roots were still intact. Root pruning can promote new root growth, in mature plants, but would not recommend pruning seedling roots. Thanks for watching!
Hi , great video.! My sweet peppers are waiting for warmer weather here in S.Everett. Waiting to see when you plant yours! Love the greenhouse what kind is it?
Hi Cynthia, Small world! I was just in your neighborhood last week! 😊 I usually wait to plant them out in the garden in June or when nighttime temperature is at least 60 degrees Fahrenheit. I’m going to grow some in the greenhouse and some in the ground. The greenhouse design is Ana White, here’s the link below. I need to clean it though! Thanks for watching! How long after transplanting the plant is it adjusted to it's new home. I have a green bell pepper that I transplanted to a raised plant bed but it's make buds and flowers. It's still small and I want to pick the flowers/buds out so it can focus on growing bigger. How long should I wait to do this if at all. Plz help me, thx.
I can't seem to get bell peppers to germinate this year, I guess I'll dig out some sweet peppers and see or maybe hot peppers. I still have my 2 year old plant tho, we'll see what it does.
What do you reccomend for spacing between peppers in this climate? Also when do you plant yours outdoors? I will be placing mine in a low tunnel on top of my raised bed and can not find planting info.
Hi Amber, Depending on the variety, as some plants will grow bigger than others, space them out 18 to 24 inches apart and rows 24 to 36 inches apart. Proper spacing will ensure good air flow which can help prevent disease or insect pest infestation. I usually wait to plant them out when nighttime temperature is 60 degrees Fahrenheit, which is usually in the beginning to mid- June here in the PNW. Hope this helps! Have a great week and thanks for watching! Misilla
Hi Michael, Yes, it's suggested to bury tomatoes deep and roots covered. It will initiate the plant to grow roots along the stem known as root primordia which develop into a healthier root system. Thanks for watching!
Your aunty knows the way to my heart haha free plants are always a wonderful surprise!!

The spider crawling on the tomato plants pot made me happier than I’d like to admit ☺️
We love having them around. Every year the tiny yellow spiderlings emerge on our deck. So fun to watch. 😍
I didn't realize that pepper plants got adventitious roots also. Thanks for sharing
this ! ! !
Hi friend, Some peppers have them, I’m going to check out the eggplants soon as they grow. Thanks for watching!
I love watching your videos. Very fun. You got me into regrowing from scraps in doing onion. Ginger. And broccoli right now. Wish me luck xoxox
if you remove "suckers" from tomato plants, stick em in dirt, and keep em watered...they will grow into a clone of the plant you took them from...
Thank you, Chris! I started some ginger again, too! Remember, to change the water daily or every two days to prevent bacteria growth. You can also plant them directly in well draining soil, just keep it moist. Thanks for watching! Misilla

Have you had success with cucamellon in this climate? I tried last year and failed but that may have been my error also on timing.
@@amberlennox4647 yes! I was so surprised. Since last year eas so short. But had so many! They were so much fun.
@@amberlennox4647 they were really sensitive. I grew them from seeds. It didnt take off until it started getting warmer!
Are you in everett?
Nice! Did you overwinter your Chiltepin pepper? Thanks for watching! Misilla

I had a few Reapers who’s roots had gone below the tray. I felt roots snapping when I took them out of their trays. Do you think it damaged them?

How big does the pepper need to be before dividing
They look so healthy and alive. Mine can never be like that 😂
Lol oh no! 😆

Nice! My pepper plants got infested with gnats and aphids! They’re still alive, but I had to put them outside. You can root pepper cuttings!
