It’s funny how they’re both learn in different ways. Vegeta isn’t a natural prodigy so he can’t intuitively learn spontaneously new transformations like Goku. While Vegeta learns by thinking things out logistically. It's not that Vegeta ISNT a natural prodigy (he probably has more than Goku in that regard in terms of talent). The difference is attuned to different mindsets and path to training. Vegeta from what I recall only trained with saibamen and didn't really have a concrete master aside from maybe Pybara during Yardrat. While Goku was set on the path of numerous disciplines and mindsets that all culminated into ultra instinct. Grandpa Gohan, Roshi, Korin, Kami, King Kai, Pybara, Whis. All of their teachings with similar principles is what got Goku this far (I mean his friends contributed too yeah) While Im making a statement about Goku, this just makes Vegeta all the more impressive for catching up with Goku, Hell, he even gets a new form for himself that rivals Goku And even in Base, he won against him. Vegeta is highkey far more than just a "natural prodigy" hes damn insane
He literally IS a natural prodigy. People seem to forget this. Vegeta arrived on earth with a FAR higher power than Goku's despite Goku having trained much more often than him, including getting to train with a god (King Kai) and learn techniques no mortal would normally learn. Even WITH all that, when they met, Vegeta was at 18,000 (180,000 as oozaru) and Goku was a bit over 8,000 (in Japanese, it says "over 8,000", not "9000" - the 9000 is a dubbing mistake). IF Goku had not died, trained with a god, drank the ultra divine water in dragoball (boosted his power), trained in 100x gravity on the way to namek, died and trained for 7 years in otherworld (less restrictions on a dead body so he could push himself further), etc, he'd actually ALWAYS have been at a severe disadvantage to Vegeta in term of natural strength. The advantages Goku's had (until Super) have almost all stemmed from him getting lucky breaks and help from others - training with kais, ultra divine water, hitting his head as a baby which is what made him so empty-headed in the first place, which is why he can even use UI - he's had a LOT of help, while until Super, Vegeta was ENTIRELY doing it on his own. Notice that as soon as Vegeta STARTED to loosen up and accept help / training from others - Whis, Beerus, Yardrats - he closed the gap with Goku. In fact, HE won their last fight AND their first fight (if not for Gohan and Krillin and Yajirobe, Goku was cooked). Ultra Ego now makes it so that Goku can never have a big gap over him again - because if he DID gain an advantage, the way UE works is this: soon as Vegeta takes damage, he gets a lot stronger - so within seconds any gap that DOES open up, he can close again in the same fight. The game has COMPLETELY changed. If that's not proof enough of his status as a a prodigy, a small review: 1. As a child he had a power level of 10,000 - which other than Broly and the King was nearly unheard of among saiyans - Goku did not reach the same point until the events on Namek, as an adult. 2. Vegeta is the ONLY one of any saiyans we have ever seen - including Goku - to have the ability to transform into an oozaru at will but more IMPORTANTLY he is the only one who has the ability to CONTROL HIMSELF FULLY in oozaru form - Goku and Gohan turn into mindless apes - Vegeta is still himself, only 10x stronger. This requires an INSANELY powerful will and a strong mind. That's PURE prodigy. 3. After witnessing Goku raising his battle power on earth and his ability to sense where he was without a scouter, Vegeta figured out how to do the same thing almost immediately - by the time he showd up on Namek, not long after, he had already figured out how to lower or raise his power at will AND how to sense ki without a scouter - nobody helped him - he just saw the earthlings do it, and immediately understood how to do it. That's CRAZY talent. 4. Vegeta was the first one to figure out a way to surpass super saiyan grade 1. He was also smarter than Trunks in realizing the weakness of using grade 3, which he HAD but unlike Trunks did not use on cell because it'd just slow him down and make him vulnerablle. 5. Vegeta masterfully manipulated his foe in battle - first, he knew he had to confirm the androids' ability to drain energy was only through their hands. Then, when weakened by 19's drain on him, he goaded Gero into attacking - a bluff - and it worked. Not something Goku would think up. He'd just show his fatigue and give himself away. Prodigy. 6. Unlike Goku, NOBODY taught Vegeta many of his best moves. Goku COPIED kamehameha from Master Roshi. He COPIED instant transmission from the yardrats. He COPIED kaioken and spirit bomb from King Kai. MEANWHILE, Vegeta's Big Bang Attack is PURELY his own invention. So is Final Flash. So is Ultra Ego- it's unique only to him - non other character - not even Beerus - has shown this form. 7. GOKU needed a CEREMONY with 6 saiyans to achieve SSJ God. VEGETA did it BY HIMSELF, without help or a ceremony, according to Goku himself. PRODIGY. 8. Simply seeing Bulma get slapped sent Vegeta into a state where he surpassed Goku's SSJ3 despite only being in SSJ2. PRODIGY. 9. Vegeta DECIDED to surpass his own limits and pulled SSJ Blue Evolution - unique to him - out of his pocket on the spot - which is behind only MUI in the ToP in terms of power, and even Jiren recognizes that his blows are "indeed heavy" - GOKU had to have very specific circumstances - a spirit bomb, a black hole, falling into the black hole, absorbing the spirit bomb, etc - to achieve UI - while Vegeta just went "I'mma get strong now" and did it. 10. Vegeta learned instant transmission in MINUTES - something GOKU took most of a YEAR to learn. PRODIGY! 11. Vegeta mastered spirit control also, according to the yardrats, MUCH faster than Goku did when he did the training, and he surpassed his spirit control. They BOTH did the same training - Vegeta did it FASTER - by a lot. PRODIGY! I mean, Goku's a prodigy in his OWN way - but saying Vegeta's not is insanity. He's ALWAYS been a first-rate prodigy - that's WHY he finds it so annoying if Goku surpasses him here and there - because he's an elite (elites ARE elites because they ARE naturally gifted) and Goku is low-class (low-class saiyans typically have lower power and are less gifted). Fact is, Goku WOULD be far behind him if he had not had the luck to hit his head as a baby, knocking him retarded and empty-headed instead of him ending up like his brother Raditz - who never got very strong - which WAS his fate if he didn't hit his head, meet Roshi, train with Kami, train with King Kai, etc. If Goku didn't have all that help along the way, he'd only have a Raditz-level power level at best. VEGETA, not Goku, is the NATURAL prodigy - Goku is the prodigy who is only a prodigy because he got the saiyan knocked out of him as a kid and met some people who could teach him powerful moves. IMAGINE how much weaker he'd be if he NEVER met Roshi and NEVER got kamehameha as a result, NEVER died, NEVER got spirit bomb or kaioken as a result, etc! If Goku had not hit his head, NONE of that happens. THAT's not prodigy. That's LUCK.

I feel like this is when beerus looks at vegeta and goes “hmmm he trying to go instinct. His crazy ass might be able to utilize ego.” Or sumn along those lines
":Fine I give up"
Ring Master "And just like that, Vegeta forfits the battle!"
NO, NO THAT'S NOT WHAT I MEAN YOU BAFOON!"
*Vegeta gets teleported out of the arena*
Vegeta is and always will be my favorite saiyan
My Man.
You guys would get along great with my brother 😭 (he’s 9)
@@CodGamer2345-l3p if ur brother likes Vegeta then his smart
@@CodGamer2345-l3p ue in my opinion is better than ui so that just makes Vegeta even better for me personally like Gohan and piccolo tho
@@brandonrich6342 blud ui is better than ue cause if you think about it…Goku in his ui form can just drain Vegeta’s energy when he’s in ue so like…
I mean it took Goku a beating from someone stronger than Beerus coupled with spirit bomb to trigger his ultra instinct, but Vegeta expected to awaken his ultra instinct by taking hits from someone who is weaker than his SSJ form ? At least ask Toppo to help you
no fighter in this tournament is as strong as beerus? even if they have the power of lower level gods. Beerus could take vegeta, goku, top, and jiren all at once. im not over exaggerating its true. he could do it with like 1% too. then whis could take beerus with like 1%. i dont think you understand.
@@WM44444no we understand.
Beerus did 1v5 against 5 god's of destruction in manga and won without going all out
Beerus one shot ssb evolved vegeta after tournament of power
Even if we combine whole TOP they are nowhere stronger than 5 god's of destruction
So yeah Beerus can most likely one shot the Top itself
@@WM44444Belmod was directly stated by Whis to be stronger than Beerus. And Jiren is stronger than Belmod.
Also, Belmod was the only destroyer to be completely unharmed in the exhibition match, and the only destroyer to overpower all the rest of the destroyers, including Beerus, simultaneously.
Whis didn't say belmod is stronger than beerus but he said a god of destruction from another universe was able to beat beerus in arm wrestling he didn't specify which universe god of destruction@@noneyabidness9644
@@noneyabidness9644 Jiren is stronger than Belmond. Beerus has nothing to do with it. Whis never said Jiren was stronger than Beerus.
Wild to think the goober he is fighting one shots buu
Based on what do you say that?
@@JM-tj5qm they're just saying stuff. the argument "Super characters > characters from older sagas" don't work when Buu defeated Basil with ease. Buu in Super was still a major threat.
'Fine i give up' punches his opponent harder than he's ever been punched his entire life
"Beggin'
Beggin' yooouuuu~~"
*As Vegeta gets punched hard by him*
Yo, let’s go video and More dragon ball
nah that "fine i give up" was actually smooth tho
Vegeta was “like to hell with this.” and caught the last punch like “alright fuck it. I’ll do it my way.”
" Fine I give up " got me dying 🤣🤣🤣🤣
little did he know he was 1 punch away from getting ultra ego
See, that’s the thing Vegeta. Goku didn’t have to try very hard to empty his consciousness.
Beerus: Get your guard up saiyan! 🦹♂️
When Vegeta got tired of getting punched 😂😂😂
I think this is the first time Vegeta just hit the "Nah, I'm good" and I love Super for these small gems of development
I love how later on Goku is trying to train and Vegeta is ignoring him and Broly by meditating and Whis tells him he's finally getting it.
Whenever the next arc comes out Vegeta's finally going to get his transformation and I think it's going to surpass Goku
See I said whis can read minds better than anyone in the series
Wow that cool!!!
Even the viewers could tell bro
'Okay fine. I give up!' Upper cuts the guy lmao I love vegetas simple mindedness
Vegeta thought he was going to be king Vegeta
Bro imagine if vegeta actually had unlocked ultra instinct here
Funny
A 300X multiplayer is quite high almost as high as super Saiyan 3 which is a 400X multiplayer
Sorry Vegeta, only Goku has a plot armor, you need to work for it sadly
Little did we know, this was the birth of Ultra Ego! The GOAT!!!
Would have been funny if the guy missed on purpose and was like. "Woah you dodged it"
This is why I love Vegeta
Ultra instinct didn't work, homie achieved ultra ego with anger issues
THE “Angel born in Hell” LINE IS SO FUCKING FIRE 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Vegeta using UI should be a side chapter ending in him saying that he hates how empty it is, he needs purpose in a fight
"But it worked 5 mins ago" ahh moment 💀
I feel like this part was the part that inspired Sensei Toriyama to make Ultra Ego, considering that Vegeta has taken a lot of hits in the past and presents.
Funny how they used the different universes to put different genres of MCs
I love Vegeta's reaction of "Aw to hell with this shit!"
this is actually a foreshadowing of Ultra Ego ig
Vegeta: if goku can get ultra instinct then so can i
The fact he was able to take all that in his base form is impressive.
But Vegeta realise he is for ultra ego
I can’t wait to see ultra ego animated it’s gonna look fucking bad ass
We all know vegeta and his fans will always be #2
W video W person w RUclips name W goat
Some people learn to pick locks, some people learn to kick doors down. So long as you get in the room.
I'm glad he found something more his style.
He really closed his eyes and let someone pummel him🤣🤣🤣
Sayains have a wack sense of pride🤣🤣🤣
"I'm beating him. I'M BEATING HIM!"
Vegeta: "Burrito or taco later? Meh, I'll figure it out after I stop taking wussy punches from this guy."
“I give up”
*immediately wins*
“You’ll never learn to think like that clown!”
Nobody really can, Vegetes! Not even you!
Goku gives up: Loses
Vegeta gives up: *wins*
"Fine, I give up" ...punches opponent's spine right out his back.....
I love how immediately after this scene the discount power ranger just goes “so you were holding back too?”
And vegeta just smiles, goes “Yep!” And starts beating the sh*t out of him.
Well, he's got the right idea. Getting wailed on is how he uses his burning pride to achieve ultra ego. Probably figured that out right there.
Vegeta, whilst getting pummelled: huh, I wonder if there's some form that benefits from getting beat up...
That after punch was like bro I'm bored
"Fine, I give up."
*proceeds to win*
That was his first step into understanding why UI isn't his thing. He created Ultra Ego and gets stronger by taking damage while also using the power of god of destruction.
I still remember seeing (before the Granolah arc happened) fan-art of Vegeta in Ultra-Instinct years ago
This character not getting into Sparking Zero hurts me on a personal level
The epic foreshadowing of Ultra Ego. Just a hint of what was to come. Amazing.
Him changing into battle mode gave me the same confidence as me putting crocs in sport mode
Imagine getting into a fight and your opponent just closes his eyes and stands there while taking all of your hits 😭
Ngl the battle guy suit is cool
I remember (before the Granolah arc happened) seeing fan-art of Vegeta in Ultra-Instinct
My boy krillin has been beat up so many times, he started thinking it's a viable strategy😂😂
Dude went full power ranger on the prince bruh
Once a sidekick, always a sidekick
Vegeta didn't know his power lies in tanking blows not avoiding them but he eventually learns this.
Bro knew well, he could kick his butt
"If kakarot can do it, so can i." Maybe a call out to the fans letting them know. Yeah, you indeed can not do what kakarot does.
Vegeta: fine i give up and the one shots 😂😂🎉🎉😂😂🎉😂🎉
The shit Vegeta is willing to do to his body to get stronger is ridiculous lol.
Vegeta just gets pissed and fucks him up 😂
“Now that I’m in battle mode, my attack increases by 300.”
Why did that sound like a Yu-Gi-Oh line? 😂
Those stupid conversations is what killed the balls of the dragon that you keep touching.
If I can’t dodge, I’ll just destroy. That’s essentially his character trip in the Granola arc.
Vegeta letting himself get beat up by a power ranger villain until he knew that $hit wasn’t working.
"Get your guard up sayian"😂😂😂
So glad my dawg got his own shit frfr
