The only band in Nepal which is so genuine and authentic. Having followed them since 2008 and now seeing them making it into world music platform is such a wonderful moment as they have deserved it for so long and all their genuine fans saw this coming. Kudos to the band and proud that true Nepalese music being represented to the world.
Finally.. this song. I still have a raw recording of this song. I still remember the time when they were coming in folk scene with other good artists such as bipul, Baja band. But Night just tops the list.. BAAJA is good too I wonder what they’re doing now.. !! Night sahi nachidinu bhayo haha !!
I slightly disagree with you. :) Night was way before in the scene before anyone you mentioned and they were bit underground to be noticed and is always relatively quiet about their work. Secondly there is no comparison to their work. They are different than others because of their approach to music making. They compose music after years of study of culture and music of various places of Nepal. They play endangered instruments and come up with so many innovative ideas and completely nail it. this makes their music so unique and makes them different from the rest.
