Dark Matter Season 2 starts Monday 4th July, 8pm on Syfy.
Dark Matter stars Marc Bendavid (Bitten), Melissa O’Neil (Broadway production of Les Miserables), Anthony Lemke (White House Down), Alex Mallari Jr. (Robocop) , Jodelle Ferland (Twilight), Roger Cross (The Strain), and Zoie Palmer (Lost Girl).
Syfy’s series Dark Matter returns with Season 2. In Season 1, the crew of a derelict spaceship awakens with no memories of who they are or how they got there. Facing threats at every turn, they had to work together to survive a voyage fuelled by vengeance, betrayal and hidden secrets. The brand new season follows the journey of the crew of the Raza, and their involvement in an intergalactic conspiracy, seeking a mysterious device that may hold the victory in a looming all-out corporate war. Created by Joseph Mallozzi and Paul Mullie, executive producers and writers of the Stargate franchise.

Melissa Oniel is exquisite.....expect her to really make it big. Very talented singer too!!! She is extremely beautiful and lights up the screen everytime she appears.

Jodelle is so humble. She is by far the most seasoned actress on the panel.
I actually just started watching episodes of Dark Matter on Netflix starting with S2's "Stuff to Steal, People to Kill". I think that it's a very smart and fun show and it would be worth seeing it somehow revived after its cancellation. Especially because it realistically reestablishes male and female role models in SF.

+MarcusEvonblade ! dark matter has some of the writers working on it that also worked on alot of stargate like martin woods and also all the cameos from stargate actors so alot if what made star gate so great is in dark matter

Dude it was fun but got predictable and cliched in parts. Fight scenes which they cram one into every episode are boring as well. It felt too clunky and random as well. Like in one episode someone close to the crew dies and instead of mourning them they just move on to something else...not very realistic of human experience. Plus the characters are too cliched. 2 always leader, 3 always acting tough, 5 always nice, 6 always quirky but humane, etc .Yes I get that there's twists and turns with their backstop and whi they really are but for most episodes you don't really see anything more to the characters. Plus every alien is humanoid. I don't care Sci Fi series having to be true to current physics research but surely some aliens can be flying blobs or tentacles?? I really wanted to love this series cause otherwise it has some interesting ideas and flows fast-paced, but in the end just not enough depth or character complexity, I ended up watching most episodes while doing something else.

Agreed, huge fan of hers. Her language mod bit in S1 is still one of the funniest TV moments that entire year.

DARK MATTER IS THE BEST SERIES ESPECIALLY SPACESHIP EVER !!! I LOVE TWO. FIVE. FOUR. AND THE ANDROID'S CHARACTER AND THEIR CHARACTERS'S CONTRIBUTION TO THE SERIES! ALSO LOVE THE WRITERS PRODUCERS AND DIRECTORS!
Like the cast I wish these interviews would not be about sexuality or race. I think every character is right for their part. Gender and race don't play into it for me. Roger Cross is awesome in Dark Matter, Not because he is a "black man" because he is an awesome actor! Period. I can't wait until we get past labels. We all have names, our actions and behavior create an identity to put with the name. #bringbackdarkmatter
There is a saying in my country we define such situation as "3 flowers 1 bug" anything similiar in english? btw i am a fan of this show....considerably a huge fan probably..thanks for sharing FATC.
P.S. I am looking forward to seeing the 3rd season btw...it will be great...

Season 1 was about the crew of the Raza, intergalactic wanted criminals who have left a trail of carnage in the universe. Can anyone trust anyone on this ship given their evil past made it suspenseful character driven show. The show has done a 160, I didn’t expect them to stay evil but their not even badass now, they’ve become peacekeepers🤮. Can’t we just get a show on the mirror universe Raza in that universe!!!
Its quite problematic how espacially in tv Interviewers got quite the obsession to frame everything through gender and skincolor.
