- giveaway mentioned has now ended - congrats to Mark Rigler and Bantam 80 (be sure to get in touch with MyVolts!)
Build your own custom daisy chain with this new range of connectable cables from Myvolts. Power up Volcas and guitar pedals from the same power source or create unique pedal board configs, I like the way these connect and feel part of the Ripchord world, that's Myvolts USB power cables.
I was really delighted when Myvolts asked me to have the world exclusive here on my channel. These are well made and inexpensive problem solvers that I'm sure will do well.
Check out the Crazy Chain range here:

Incidentally the neat stand for the Volcas comes from Synths and Wood. Check that out here:

That bass tone, with and without the fuzz, blew me away. I would be very interested in being selected for the pedal pack, as well!
Very useful! Well done Myvolts and thankyou Gaz!🙌
MyVolts are a brilliant company, responsive, helpful and lovely to deal with. Big up!
Thank you Spencer ! We love you too ! 🤟😘
What a lovely massive tone. MyVolts make great products. Their customer service is also top shelf. The MickXer should be the first accessory any Volca owner gets, after the appropriate Ripcord.
Hi All, Luke here from myVolts.
Thanks to all you commenters, all your post are very interesting, particularly any doubts / questions / things you don't yet understand. Please keep them coming.
We'll pop back with a random winner for each of the volca and pedal packs on Monday 5pm London time.
Thanks also to Gaz for hitting the launch video out of the park. The best!
I would be happy to power my new Volca Pack with these beautiful cables.
I was lucky enough to win the give away prize, normally power cables aren't the most exciting prizes on the planet but boy are they useful, so much so that I'm buying some more. You need a pack of these in your cable box for when someone turns up with something unusual needs to be patched in. The USB to 9v cable is so bloody useful.
A world exclusive? Gaz you're moving up the food chain! Talk about crazy chains.
What a great idea. I have several MyVolts USB and wall plugs and use them daily. The pedal pack would be amazing!
Heavy sound from your brilliant use of the Crazy Chain !🔥 We love it ! 🤟😎
A pedal pack would really help tidy up my mass of cables. Will have to investigate those ripcords too. What a great idea.
Thanks for introducing them to us @gaz williams
Gaz getting his Zeus on.
Great stuff MyVolts. Would love a Pedal Powerpack. 😬
So glad with all of my MyVolts stuff! They are one of the better companies out there!
These do look near on perfect for most of us. I was an early backer of the original Ripchords...which took a lot of work and time to get to market..from memory it took about 14 months..and unfortunately by that time I had moved away from the volca's I had . My volts were ..honestly, wonderful to deal with , actually wonderful and I cant recommend them more highly. I have since caught the little synth's ailment again and will look at the Volca crazy chains and be back to dealing with my volts again I am sure. Nice work.
Volca pack pleeease! :)
Love that bass sound Gaz, so awesome.
Fantastic. Simple idea but very well executed. I’d love a pedal pack.
Would love a Pedal Pack. Awesome stuff Gaz and Myvolts!
Interesting product. I can already think of uses for it within my system. Especially the gadget that reverses polarization. Useful indeed. And tying together the volca’s on the daisy chain, that is a cool idea. Good work Gaz.
Thanks gaz!! I would definitely love the pedal pack. It's exactly the type of solutions that I am looking for 🤯
I like Church Pipes in a compliment with a Bass Guitar. Brilliant shielded connectivity. The step-up from 5 Volts USB with the use of an inline dongle is intriguing. Magical Music. Thanks.
Now that's bloody clever . Very good idea . I'd use and like a pedal pack . ....
Awesome!! I truly need the volca pack!!
Brilliant - and a long time coming. Time to put away the wire strippers and chocolate block connectors!
Get on the Crazy Chain 😊
5:07 was not expecting that! Sounds massive but not overwhelming.
Interstellar sound by Gaz :)
that shirt says it all, says it all :-) excellent Gaz
Your guitar sound at the beginning was mind blowing.
Brilliant concept MyVolts! Such a lovely idea of sharing your product with us and I'd be grateful with either the volca or pedal version as they both will be very handy. Cheers GAz and thanks MyVolts!
I'm already happy user of MyVolts stuff. And need to say that it is an Brilliant idea to do such chain-solution! I'd like to have it and test MyVolts Pedal-pack to try to rule some crazy sound as Gaz got :)
Sounds incredible!
Nifty. A Pedal pack would be rad!
This is really cool - and I'm just discovering the MickXer - where has that been all my life!
I just spotted you have my favourite delay pedal! My much loved Ibanez Echoshifter
I love that pedal too, but damn, do they keep FAILING. I'm on the third/last one... (power issues)
Excellent product. A real solution. A Volca pack would be great.
What a great solution !
Nifty. I'd put the Volca Pack to good use.
what a brilliant idea! I've only recently found out about MyVolts and it's great to know they're there. I've recently ordered a daisy chain for the volcas from them and I wish I knew about this before! Since the volcas are covered for now, a pedal pack would be lovely :D
Very cool stuff. I’d love a pedal pack!
Very nice!
My pedal board has 3 of those pedals on it good choices
I MUST try these.
this is a great video and their products are spot on for power solutions.....volca pack for me to completely change my mini set up and make daisy chaining a lot less of a pain :)
I agree Gaz. Myvolts provide great customer service. Those 'hot tips' look super useful as a way to avoid wrong polarity in a mixed polarity chain. Could that LED feature be built into all tips please. Got a mickXer or 2 already and they are good at ground loop kill, like from the Volca FM which is pretty noisy without one. Definitely I'd really like a pedal pack that would be really neat.
I got these!!!! Now I can play all my pedals!!! Nice nice nice took care of all my issues
Pedal pack! :D neat product
Wow, amazing, nice, I have a variety of different type pedals.I am going to order one with this I can power all my pedals
Gaz the Guru, and o my god so good ambient sounds you make here :)
Nifty solution, would love to cut down on power adapters, count me in for pedal pack GAW.
Cool! Pedal Pack would be nice, if the giveaway is valid for the USA
Wish I could play the conundrums.
or any drums
Oh, these are really good ones. I want Volca pack so bad :)
Oh my god, that is genius. Would love to get the pedalpack! Wondering how you still retained that heavey transient when you turned on the fuzz. Sounds like a movie score :D
Exactly what I’m looking it to use on an outdoor performance. May I have a pedal pack?!
Volca Pack would be very nice!
Being a myvolts user since the very beginning I would be very happy with a pedal pack ,feel free 🎸🔥🐉🎶🎶🎶🍀🍀🍀
Intriguing product. I was just thinking how cool something like this would be as I was recently rewiring my Korg synths. I have a bunch of Volca's and various Korg synths wired up using MyVolts power splitters, but I read the MicroKorg uses a reverse polarity so I couldn't add that to the chain and gave it its own power supply. I guess this new solution would fix that problem.
The older version does require centre negative polarity, check out this blog post which will help you to identify the polarity of your MicroKorg: myvolts.com/blog/microkorg_power/
It's worth noting that the volca tips also work for Kaosspads
Great bass sound. With a Boss SY300 you can make these sounds easily. Almost :-)
I started making diy pedals, so a paddle pack would be nice
Loving the sound from the bass ...... would love a getting started rundown, as a lot of us .......ME.... is finding it quite daunting, as to the setting up of everything, and am very unsure as to what cables to get me started with....lots of gear and not a clue, springs to mind 😖😖😖😂😂😂
Neat alternative to Cioks
volca pack would be nice to have!
They should get with Ozzy and do a Crazy Train version.
Volt-a-more Pedalpack Wizardry
Very interesting I'd have a pedal pack please
Going off the rails on the crazy-chain sorry Gaz i had too :) great content btw
All aboard!! Hahaha
Would be a great add on to The my volts power supply I already have.
Volca please 🤞
ok! could @Bantam80 (volca pack) and @Mark Rigler (pedal pack) send me an email (luke at myvolts dot com). I'll get your prizes out in tomorrows post! Thanks again for all your interest everyone, feel free to ask us if you have any questions on Crazy Chain. Best Regards. Luke.
Wow, never heard of MyVolts, but this stuff is pretty amazing! i need it for my volca's and for my pedals! How much noise when daisy chaining multiple pedals but with one strymon output? great sound Gaz!
Is that fuzz war?
If you need more info, here we are: myvolts.com/ or you can ask everything you want on our social media platforms! See ya soon 🤟
@@myvolts1903 :)
Well I just bought the mixer and leads. Couldn’t find the pack of power chainery on website.
PEDAL PACK would be amazing to win! I'm already happily powering my Volcas and a Korg Monologue using a MyVolts Ripcord USB and a MyVolts MickXer! Plus I live down the road in Bristol, so Gaz could just drop it off! Ha ha! (not seriously!)
Oh pedal pack :D
I'd like a Volca pack!
Hi @Bantam80, Alex here from myVolts. Congrats, you are the winner of the Volca pack!! Could you send us your contact (name, address, and email address ) with your RUclips nickname at alex@myvolts.com? Thanks and stay safe !! 🤘😎
would you recommend running off a plugged in lithium battery instead of a dedicated USB PSU?
Both ways are good and work
could be a solution for my power problems ie the wall wart
😂That sound
Ripcords are great. I've got a fair few and use them a lot.
I've had a problem power three Volcas from a fully charged powerbank using a splitter though. Often I can turn two on, then when I turn on the third the other two switch off.
Hi there. I've seen that behavior before, it's actually down to your power source, rather than Ripcord. If you use a powerbank with a 5V 2.4A USB output, you'll power 5 Volcas without issue (I use an Anker battery to be sure of that result).
@@myvolts1903 Thanks. I suspected it was the powerbank. Looks like mine's a 2.1A
No problem with Ripcords though. Got about half a dozen here! Been recommending them to everyone. If anything I need more powerbanks - will make sure they're 2.4A next time.
Perfect for those newer DSP guitar pedals too. My TC Hall of Fame cant run on a 9v battery for more than 15 minutes. I suspect any drop in power affects DSP much more than something like an old analog distortion or wah wah pedal
@Marek Bujko hi Marek. Yes, Gaz is using our 9V Ripcord cable (which converts 5V to 9V) to power the Volcas.
@Marek Bujko :)
😎🔌 - I make my own power leads, so please ignore this comment for competition purposes 🖖
Same here when necessary although an analysis of time/effort/cost might suggest I am better off just buying the MyVolts stuff. A nice feature of modular is the standardised power supply. This could be emulated in the full-size synth world if USB power delivery standards were adopted as they are multi-voltage and good to 100W.
Pedal pack please :)
Pedal pack please!
pedal pack !!!
What about on the MC707 Gaz?
The MC-707 needs 5.7 volts so wouldn’t work in any of the chains I demonstrated. MyVolts do make a Ripchord 5.7v version that could power one from a USB battery.
Volca pack please!
pedal pack please!!!!!!:)
Seems a little overcomplicated with pretty much every cable having different sizes on them. Was trying to work out how to chain some behringer boxes together and just gave up because it involves buying things that I'm not going to use to get bits I am.
A few different length 'universal' cables with individual spurs for polarity/plug size would be easier to work out.
You could get the same result easier with a guitar pedal power splitter.
I can understand that but in my case I have genuinely found them useful. For instance it makes a really neat way to power my three Moog semi modulars from one power source.
Pedal lol
pedal pack please
Hi @Mark Rigler, Alex here from myVolts. Congrats, you are the winner of the Pedal pack!! Could you send us your contact (name, address, and email address ) with your RUclips nickname at alex@myvolts.com? Thanks and stay safe !! 🤘😎
@@myvolts1903 wow many thanks
Well done
Pedal pack
Oogh
Pedal pack please!
