For years I couldn't figure out why I was itchy after a bath but since I did, I have been using my hands on my legs and arms (where my skin itched most) and wash cloth on my feet and underarms.
Maybe you are having a mild reaction to the detergent you wash the washcloths with! Perhaps you could try washing them with an unscented detergent if you are looking to keep using them in the shower :)

you should try out Moonlite Beauty! it's a small business that sells so many different body scrubs and body butters but omg my skin feels so soft after using their stuff 🥰
I can no longer just use scented soaps/scrubs in the shower. I need to do a base cleanse with dove bar soap or cerave bar soap especially for getting deodorant off and because I sweat at the gym. Body wash is second and more so for scent/relaxation than for a super cleansing. I use a gentle wash for behind and monistat for kitty. Body scrub maybe a few times a week. Some of these vids confuse me, like are yall not washing lady bits b/c these scented soaps should not be used fr that.
I had that same question in thought, but then I just assumed she washed her lady bits off screen with just a gentle, simple wash. I think she wanted to focus more so on the scented body products in this video as opposed to a detailed hygiene routine.
It actually is wise to not forget your exfoliation, even in the winter, because our skin still sheds! However, it is wise to properly moisturize your skin after so that it does not lack the needed hydration. 🤍
