Love the review on the SVS ULTRA TOWERS your truly one of the GREAT audio equipment reviewers! I’ve recently come across the supposed 1st major “ground breaking speaker technology in over 100 years. And I’ve been contemplating the purchase of the SONOS -ULTIMATE IMMERSIVE SET WITH ARC ULTRA. They say this technology is mind boggling, the invention came from 2 Dutch brothers who sold their invention and company to SONOS for a reported 100 million dollars. I’m fascinated that an innovation in speaker technology could bring this kind of money! So I was wondering if this product could be on the radar for your next AWESOME REVIEW, I would love to see it? Thanks Tharbamar! Look forward to your future many reviews of cutting edge products!

Thanks for your review ... but did you notice that your frequency response at listening position drops off suddenly after 5kHz? Unfortunately, this made the "Kiss of Life" audio samples lack treble energy. Cymbals were missing and/or highly muted. You might need to play with toe-in to get a better response. I'm assuming the mic was at tweeter level for the FR measurements you made.

Great review! I have the JBL L-100 anniversary edition speakers as well, a Mcintosh MAC7200 amp and a pair of SVS 4000 sealed subwoofers. I love the JBL L-100 but was thinking of moving them to another location and think I want to try and upgrade. I'm definitely a bass guy that likes punch and feeling the bass. Was considering the JBL 4367 but then came across these SVS ultra for less than half the price. My question is how do these SVS Ultra evolution pinnacles compare to your JBL 75th anniversary L-100's? Thank you!

Thank you, I would say that is depending on your preference but if you like deep bass SVS Ultra Evolution Pinnacle is a great choice.

Tharbamar, I watch your reviews because you like rock music, most of reviewers listen the opposite genres if we can call it, so most of what they recommend I don't like at all and I think the biggest role plays different music genres, which requires different qualities. My question: what is your best/favorite speakers for this type of music, currently I have Focal Aria 906 which I love very much, bass is a little bit lacking, but subwoofers get the job done, I prefer bookshelf over floorstanding speaker, for my living space. I don't say a budget, because I better wait till I save some money for something really good, instead of buying small upgrade. Thank you for review and your answer 🙃
