I also closed down my Etsy shop in oct after that shipping stuff. I don’t miss it. Glad I’m out especially after listening to this video. I have my wonderful website and I am happy.
Has anyone seen the television commercials promising Etsy customers that they will receive their orders on time or it’s free? Knowing that they’re lying to customers about delivery times, I’m thinking that’s gonna be a disaster.
I'm selling digital, and since Thanksgiving week, many customers have messaged me about not receiving their download links or reporting broken links. I've been emailing the files directly to at least three customers daily for the past week. It’s not a huge deal, but it’s still unusual. I’ve never experienced this before, and this is my 4th year selling on Etsy.

I disabled my listings and put my shop on vacation because I charged when they renewed when my shop was on vacation mode.
I'm going to be deactivating everything so that it's less likely that an Etsy glitch will open my shop again!
