Finally we get a second teasing of Lions at the Gate. While the first single was a bit more of what you'd expect this band to sound like (classic Ill Nino), this song goes off slightly in a different direction once the chorus hits. Very poppy chorus, definitely not your typical Christian Machado chorus, more akin to the direction a lot of other modern metal bands are going with the pop influences becoming more prominent in the hooks and melodies. Caught me off guard but in a good way. Really stoked to hear what else this band has to offer. Let me know what you think!
Saw Ahrue used a 7 string in the music video photoshoot. Was he using a different tuning?
