@@serenity7637 gouache has a certain creamy consistency I’m not sure you can get with anything else, but you can always use watercolor! (Also maybe try adding water to acrylic paint? I don’t know how that would turn out but it’s worth a try!)
@@serenity7637 also, you can always just invest in one big tube of white gouache and mix with watercolor! Then you’d have that nice creamy consistency with any color you’d like!
Y'all, I have to paint Japanese's or Chinese paintings. What are y'all tips for it?? I'm planning to do mountains and a sun, with only black and white colours. And I don't know what to color first 😭
If you're going to be using gouache i would say just go with whatever colour first! Since gouache is an opaque medium you can totally work light to dark or dark to light! Also have fun with it! Using gouache for me anyway was so freeing and i totally had 0 fear when starting a painting :) Granted i havent done much in the way of full pieces yet but iam 100% confident since you can paint over it and stuff
Hi! I would suggest starting by analysing references of what you want to draw, for example, architecture or people. (Analysing is not the same as studying though, you can use shapes and breakdown, for example, the features of the face, to make it easier to do). If you have a base, you can move on to developing a style, like impressionism, pop art or your own way of representing. I don’t really have experience with abstract art, however I hope this helped you :)
@@alina.joyce. that’s so relatable! Some days I feel like there’s honestly nothing left for me to draw but I randomly get creative bursts in the middle of the night hehe. I usually just use references and try not to think about what I’m drawing in these times. It can also help to look at artists who have similar work to what you’re trying to achieve.
Thanks for this! I don’t see too many gouache TikTok compilations so this was a breath of fresh air :)
@Colson Tomas why would you hack your girlfriends account
