- August 5, 2023 - This years Pride in Amsterdam, Rain or Shine, was a spectacular event with 80 boat participants and hundreds and thousands of spectators both locals and international.
This years theme is “You Are Included”.
The boats started at Scheepvaart museum, moving towards Amstel river, Prinsengracht & Westerdok.

@@010siberie2 I'm gay and from Serbia. Moving to Germany soon, I hope my first pride parade will look like this. At the same time I understand you. In traditional countries like Serbia we care more about veterans while in some places it's less, which I don't like, but not all people are like that. Sure a month is too long, while for veterans one day, that is bad, I agree, but the rest I said what I said
@@010siberie2, not gay myself but youre living in the past aparently. Its good to remember veterans but some might say that the present and future are always more important since that is what were actually living in. Dont see anything wrong here.
It's a reaction to the bigotry that LGBT people face. If the majority of people treated veterans as sub human for most of history, there would be months long marches for veterans too. Veterans don't need us to march to advocate their equality as humans, the world already does and always has treated veterans as human beings with human rights.
