- There are many coasters that don't require very much space like these Intamin twisted impulse coasters, including new models like S&S Worldwide El Locos & Intamin ZacSpins or older ones like Vekoma boomerangs, Schwarzkopf loopers, a variety of wild mouse coasters & many more. What's your favorite small footprint coaster?
Valleyfair is located near Minneapolis in Shakopee, Minnesota.

I've been riding this ride since I was big enough to ride. I love how it screams at you and seems genuinely pissed off that you made it through the ride. LOVEEE IIIT.
rode this 3 times and i love how it counts down then u hear recorded screams. it makes it more exciting
The Brakes that Launch the train is that noise. There are no recorded screams
it goes 321 and pushes you forward and you hear everyone screaming 😭😭😭
@@mackenzieosei7683 Yes but the “screaming” at the beginning is the sound of the ride
Those screams are the linear induction motors (LIMs) being used to propel the train forward and backwards.
Omg I love this ride I have been on it when I started riding the big rides I love how it counts off 3...2..1 and I also love how it stops u for a few seconds when ur in the air
Just went on this ride! It’s so good
That sounds when impulses launch tho it’s amazing
I rode this for the first time a few days ago and I absolutely loved it. I’m so glad my cousin forced me on it
I've ridden a few of these and this is the only one I've been on where they have used the holding brake on the rear spike.
Hope to ride this if they are still doing the rides for Sunday 26th or Sunday Halloween weekend. :D This is possibly how I'll spend part of my Halloween. The part that's freaky is when you're at the top and then you go back in reverse really fast.
im pretty sure this is better than wicked twister at cedar point because on the straight one, the 2nd time around, it like locks you up there and it feels like you slip out of your harness a bit, pretty exciting.
Mine would probably have to be Wickted Twister at Cedar Point!
I’m so excited to go on steel venom with my sister and my mom
this ride looked alot scarier in the tumbnail xD
I love this ride
In my middle school only 8th graders go here for a field trip. But guess what that’s the only day I’m going to school
I love that ride so much I'm actually going there soon for a field trip for school that's a first thing I'm going to go on I did it so many times but I have to go on it again
SCRUB MASTER Our school is going in the last day of school
So fun , love it
Coasterforce. What happened to all your Valleyfair pov's?
Best coaster at Valley Fair. For pure adrenaline excitement rush, it beats them all. Even the Power Tower. Which lasts longer than Power Tower, though not longer than most of the others. Which does not matter, because this is the rush ride the rest can't touch. Some of which seem more intent on inducing headaches, than anything. Steel Venom is the one you want. Do you dare?!?
They removed the break from it when you go up the back the second time because they say it was causing mechanical issues with the ride, i rode this yesterday
It's back
ive rode on that its so amazing
I live right near Valley Fair!
When was this video recorded? As valley fair has been closed for winter for quite a while now...
Would Rock N' Rollercoaster be considered a small footprint coaster? If so then that would be my favorite.
i,m going to valley fair this sat. i have never rode steel vemon. should i ride it ????? and if i were to ride it what is the ride like ?
Fahrenheit at Hershey is a good small footprint coaster.
This looks just like V2 at Six Flags Great America. Speaking of, are you going to cover X-Flight when it opens??
That. The most awes ride at valley fair
Wild!
I have a question for Intamin: Why hasn't the brake on the straight spike of V2 at Six Flags Great America been fixed yet?
just better
@JAydUBr6 The back is just as good as the front... You must not have ridden an impulse coaster
This is fun
In this video, the train is making the same noise it did in 2012 when a bearing wore out...
Thats the noise LIM's make
That noise is not from a worn bearing
Mystery Mine at Dollywood (Even though I havn't rode it yet)
But when you go backwards the other direction it's just as high as the front.
Anyone who wants a thrilling experience sit in the very front. Also i did my fear i rode it so fun when there is not a lot of heat!
Only this and Possesseed at Dorney park has Holding Brakes?
MiyaPA Masane this is now the only one left with the holding break
Jon B. I went to ValleyFair a few days ago, and this one has been switched off as well due to an incident last year where the train got stuck on the spike.
2001_master so sad 🙁
So no ride of this type has the holding brake anymore? That’s easily the best part of the ride. Sad.
HEYitzED good news! The brakes are back this year
seems somewhat of a waste to ride...idk
It’s so much fun I know this comment is 9 years old but it really is
boomerang at six flags fiesta texas
lol sucks for the rear cart, doesn't even barely go up the loop what a rip off, wow. You can never loose sitting in the front.
The back goes higher than all the others when you go backwards tho
It’s good sitting on both sides because the back goes way higher when going backwards and same as the front going up
