The octoling model is so cute. And I wouldnt have a problem with having an octoling on my team as long as no cheats are used. I love texture hacks but hate cheats.

in reality auto cover the turf is not the most uncool thing the uncool part is when some hackers kill you in the spawn and its just die respawn die respawn and its so boring because you cant do anything like you cant even paint your base or throw a bomb, maybe you can scape from there but its very rare and they will find you so
It wasnt a problem to me because auto painting a part makes the game more fun as it will be challenging, and you can see the guy was moving quickly, trying to cover lots of places until the end, which looks very fun. Also, the hacker didn't use it many times, it still looked fun and funny. Funny because someone left 🤣 😂 😅

I wouldnt be surprised if this is partially what inspired them to add playable Octolings to splatoon 2. I remember being a little creeped out by this hack, as id heard that some were using it to corrupt the data of other people playing the game.
StarofDeath YT well hes playing the demo, the demo has no plaza, save file, or anything that can be corrupted by data editing, so really, its completely safe in the demo, and who ever goes online with this hack on normal splatoon is a full blown idiot, the demo is ban proof, did i mention that? take it from a hacker like me.

This wasn't a normal game of Splatoon. This was the Global Testfire in 2016, that was like a big demo going on for 3 days. I played it as much as I could, and recorded tons of matches for the channel so I could schedule them for later, and out of all the matches I played, and I played tons, this was the only time it happened. I'm pretty sure this kind of thing will only happen during Global Testfires, so unless they have another one some time, I wouldn't expect to see it again.
I don't get why people want to hack testfires. Yeah, sure, it may be fun for you but otherwise you're just wasting other people's time by ruining the game for them and also you don't get any reward out of it so what's the point?
