I was literally confused as to why all the stalling techniques, with the detective taking a nap and spending so much time finding his laptop, but then opposite day arrives and it's all perfectly clear. Absolutely the best example of textbook detective work I have ever seen. Beyond brilliant. A big bottomless bag of bizarre behaviours, brutally baffled boy Stewie.

    oh my god I'm dense, I actually thought this was a real murderer interrogation until one of the detectives was mocking the suspect in the interrogation room and then it was such a bombshell when I realized this was a super mega video. Edit: Ok to clarify to everyone, the first time I was watching I was quite shocked to see the officer ignoring their duties in order to make toast but I figured that the officer hadn't eaten and was brought out on a call before they could eat, that and I figured they weren't a very good officer.

    i remember this case. fox canceled their Family Guy showrun for a whole evening out of respect. it was just a 2 hour-long still screen of the empty purple couch, overlaid with the words “in remembrance of the Pecan family. Fly high.”
    i was pretty pissed at the time because i was a dumb 12-year-old who didn’t get to watch their favorite show that night, but looking back, it was a really thoughtful tribute
