Yes I have I put one upside down it looked great until I put it all together and notice a single bird (small bird) was upside down. Oh I was ready to burn the dresser after that. It took me days to fix it. At least your flag wasn’t upside down.
I thought sure you were going to do a baby blue , so you really surprised me. It turned out great and will be a piece that can grow with baby boy ! ❤❤❤
I loved the original piece! Yes, I would have a hard time making the change. I love the change you made! I actually have the same dresser, it’s also my husband’s childhood dresser. It’s in it’s original state. Your video has prompted me to refinish it. Thank you for sharing your artistry!
I like the update and the off kilter stripes of the flag are charming. I didn't see them as problematic just sort of fun. And yes, that dresser was done in the very popular style of the late 80s and early 90s with it's crackle top! I well remember. Good update!
As much as it would pain me to do away with the awesome cowboy look it did turn out great. I hope Mom and Dad have good pictures of the before to show the new baby when it gets older.
Like the flip!! Your "baby spit up rags" are actually cloth diapers!Lol! I know because I used them on my kids! Thanks for the more in depth explanations of what, why, and how you are using your products and tools!
I love the dresser it turned out so adorable. What did the customer think of it? Was she okay with the strips being off? I would have removed it and redone the top part of the flag myself.
Very beautiful transformation. You just answered a question for me, I need to put wax over poly because of the wear on the piece. Didnt know if I could do that, but now I know it's acceptable. Happy flipping Sab!
That was too much .. do you protect the inside of the dresser when you spray? It seemed like a lot of blue spray paint was getting inside the dresser. I wasn’t sure about that.
Have you ever had a decoupage paper mishap?

I LOVE the fantastic, "new/old, antique" look! No doubt, your friend will love it, too!!! 👍
Very nice result! An ageless look that can "grow up" with the child.
Its just adorable!! I must admit that the original was also so well done in the cowboy theme, so cute! You did a wonderful job updating this!!
💙♥️🤍😊
What a beautiful transformation.
Thank you

Yes I took one for them. ♥️
Crackle finish was a popular 90s finish. Typically, white glue was painted over to achieve this.
Not always, crackle medium was quite popular too, I worked in a craft store back then and we sold loads of crackle medium
I think the wonky stripe is cute and would call it “artist license”…Love it…. Buff it!!!

Thank you! Good to know those are diapers. 😂. We don't have babies in our household so I have no idea what is used for what. Lol
Not a mistake, flag blown by wind. ❤
That was my thought as well 😊
Yes I love that!

Thank you. She loved it! I offered to redo that top drawer at no cost to them but she said it didn't bother her.
Love love love!!!
Thank you ♥️
It looks so good!
Thank you 😊

Hey! Thank you very much!
Behr paint needs to send you a spraying tent!
💯 and free paint!
😊 very pretty I like this very cool
💙♥️🤍
It is a great idea. However, if I paid someone for a job and it was crooked, I'd insist on them ordering another sheet and fixing it.
I offered, they declined and said it didn't bother them.
You painted over the horsies.
You're very observant
Was your friend happy with the crooked stripes on that drawer?
Yes, she was okay with it. I let her know I would order another paper and redo the top drawer at no cost. She said it didn't bother her the way it was
What part of Oklahoma are you in?? Poteau right here
Guthrie!

Why would it matter if blue paint got inside? 🤔 You can't see the inside anyway when the drawers are in
@@SabsRehabs just wondering if it’s good to do it that way.. It would be seen when the drawers are removed when moving etc.

This was an ugly duckling and now its a swan.
Thank you ♥️
