  • I decided to record myself and document my emotions on this possible side effect of Zoloft/Sertraline - please note, dont take my advice as medical professional diagnosis/advise. Any concerns on your own health should be asked towards your own GP/Doctor thank you.
Please remain nice. No hate. I did not plan on making this video but it did help me cope.
I hope this gives people an insight on mental health and create awareness for it.
This was only created as a method to cope. At least I did not self harm or something else. So please again be respectful. Thank you:) I hope have helped others some how if not I apologize. I hope you find a method that works for you. Screw what people think
the odd sound that you can hear is stellaris sound track, it is a game,

i took 100mg of zoloft last night after not taking any for years, and i ended up hallucinating super bad, like the walls were moving, my posters were moving in extreme detail, my hand was blurring out of existence, i could see geometric shapes and patterns out of nowhere, it was really quite scary to be honest, im not sure if it definitely was the zoloft or if i just stared too hard into the dark, but it felt extremely unusual and i got a dizzying feeling as well

Hope youre ok, make sure you talk to your doctor about this, it may be the meds, withdrawal symptoms? yeah suddenly stop taking meds can be pretty bad. but it shouldnt be so soon like that though, probably was really tired and stressed.

Sounds like you're having an ocular migraine, which is often induced by stress and high blood pressure/high pulse rate. I'd still go to an ophthalmologist and have them take a look to make sure that it is not a detached retina.

Yea, I knew it was an old video but I still wanted to comment just in case you're still struggling with it. I have it too and I know how much it can effect your daily life.

I hope that hallucination goes away. It is strange that it only occurs in your right eye.
Maybe talk to your doctor about it?
