    Linh! beautiful, thank you for creating this video. I've have been a CS rep, supervisor, OA, Manager and Head of CS etc.. and have always wanted to use my knowledge and skill to start my very own call center bpo. I have never taken the time to really dig into how to start it because I actually did know where to start. So my light bulb moment was when you mentioned using online services like upwork, I was like YESS!!!..( which was also a face palm moment for me because I've been a freelancer on Upwork for about 3 years now) now I can revisit my idea. Well done Linh, you are awesome!

    The trouble with most people, is they simply cannot escape the 9-5 , 40 hours a week mindset.
    Also, I am starting out with outsourcing the building of websites for small businesses, Two main problems so far.
    1. Who do I choose? I put out a request on Fiverr, for example, and I am buried by constant messagess from people promising me the earth, but when I look further into their portfolios and profiles, they are, shall we say, "exaggerrating". It's very time consuming. If you don't respond immediately, they keep at it it "Are you there?" "Hello?" etc.
    2. I have no track record, no portfolio, and scant experience. I can always learn the theory of website building, so I can convince potential clients that I know what I am talking about, but I want to avoid questions about how I do my work, where I am based, who my previous clients are.

    • @mdavis8170
      @mdavis8170 3 года назад +1

      They don't quote and get the job...YOU provide the quote, secure the contract, and collect payment. Then you take that money and use it to hire people to actually do the work under YOUR contract agreement. You make sure that your workers do what you need them to do but having them sign a contract agreement that you've had drawn up (hopefully by an attorney).

      Hi Analiza, congrats and good luck with your new venture. As for creating a company name I would highly suggest it as it is a big part of your company branding, but as to having it register and get a business permit in the Philippines, I can't really answer to that as my business is based in Australia but I work a lot with Filipinos. But I guess if one day you are to work with big corporations they will surely want to see your legalities. If l am starting the business and l don’t have a specific niche, how do l find clients since l won’t be registered and trusted , also if l manage to find one , how do l verify the identity , legality and documentation procedure to understand the person l am going to trust with the project after doing the interviews ?

      @LinhPodetti  Месяц назад +1

      We actually have a playlist dedicated to finding clients, which you might find very helpful. Please check out our playlist for detailed guidance.
      To verify the identity, legality, and documentation of potential VAs, start by thoroughly researching their online profiles and reviews. Request official documents like identification and relevant certifications, and conduct video call interviews to verify their identity and discuss their experience. Check references by contacting their previous clients for feedback, and always use a contract outlining the scope of work, confidentiality, and other key details.

    Hi linh, I am very interested in starting an outsourcing business. I'm just curious how are you going to say to a client that you need a payment upfront or a 50% deposit. Do you prepare a client contract?

    • @LinhPodetti
      @LinhPodetti  4 месяца назад

      HI @missmary689 From my experience, setting clear payment terms upfront is crucial. I always use a client contract that outlines payment schedules, including any upfront payments or deposits. This approach protects both the business and the client, and helps establish trust from the start.

    Hi, I have a question. I am interested in starting a design business with the outsourcing model but as of right now I have no reputation and am worried that if I ask to charge 50% of the money before hand so I can fund the outsourced work It will seem a bit off as I don't have that trusted brand. However, if I don't do this I will be left in a vulnerable position where I pay for the outsourced work and end up not getting paid by the customer. Any advice is appreciated.

    • @LinhPodetti
      @LinhPodetti  Год назад

      Hi Flenx, One approach you could take is to offer a partial payment upfront, but not necessarily 50%. You could start with a lower percentage, perhaps 25%, and gradually increase it as you build a reputation and gain more trust from your customers. Another alternative is to use escrow style payments.

    How do I ensure my outsourced suppliers are not in a position to find my clients and deal with them directly

    • @LinhPodetti
      @LinhPodetti  4 месяца назад

      To protect your business when outsourcing, use strict contracts with non-compete and non-disclosure clauses to prevent suppliers from contacting your clients directly. Strengthen relationships with clients by offering exceptional value and service that your suppliers cannot. Regularly monitor interactions and maintain open communication to address issues quickly, ensuring the integrity of your client relationships.

    So I manage an appraisal management company. We have outsourcing for quality control level 1 and also some daily duties. However a few of the managers I was working with at the outsourcing company are leaving and are starting their own company. They want to bring me on as partner and basically be the face of the US for it. Our employees at the OS company which we managed together were great. They could pretty much do everything except talk on the phone. I can do all that. I just want some advice is it legit? I wish I knew because this is an amazing opportunity.

    • @LinhPodetti
      @LinhPodetti  Год назад +1

      Hi Garett, While it sounds like an exciting opportunity, with so limited details I can't determine if it is a legitimate and viable business venture. However, I suggest conducting thorough research on the new company, its industry, competitors, and market demand. You may also want to consult with legal and financial professionals to ensure that any potential risks and liabilities are assessed and minimized. I wish you the best of luck in your decision-making process and hope that this advice is helpful.
