Blizzard has put out a statement about the maze stating that if you leave the maze for an hour, then your maze progress is reset.
Also, since this is confusing a lot of people, each of the squares on the Grid shown during the Ulduar part signify each of the beacons you click on.

Nooo, sorry. I know this comment is late but for anyone reading this in the future. If you leave the maze for an hour or log out for an hour while in the maze, your maze progress is reset. You can do all the clues up to the maze part in a day and do the maze a few days later if you wanted.
be sure to take your medicine after doing the maze.
My help for people who wants to get this mount:
Every step is clear and easy until you get to the maze, because it's different for everybody, but if somebody told these things to me, I'd probably finished it faster. Like this, it took me about 2 hours (only the maze). So if you want to save yourself sime time and stress, READ THIS BEFORE YOU ENTER the maze. Because if you enter and do anything then all this doesn't mean anything.
You want to prepare 5 sheets of paper, because I believe there are either 5 floors in this maze, OR if there are not 5 floors, it's probably best to map it for 5 sheets anyways.
So when you enter, start at the bottom middle of your paper and mark the start room. Then draw dawn every room that you go in.
IMPORTANT: If you go several rooms ONLY straight in a row, I believe that means floor changing, so if you are confused by your map, check the part where you were only going straight and from there, you probably want to start on a new paper, and call it floor 1 or 2 or however you want.
The only reason you don't want to use your picked colour on the table is because it is gonna disappear, both the painting on the table and the two burning torches at the other room you picked up.
So if it's disappearing then it means you are going to have a much harder and confusing time to map your locations. This is why you want to be patiente and find every torch colour and every table colour before you use them.
Learn from my mistake: I picked up red, tried to find any other torch colour or table, nothing for half an hour. Then I found purple torch, I changed, went to the next room, BOOM, red table..... Needless to say I had no idea where was red torch since I haven't seen anything in half an hour.

Thanks for the video, I was glad to get the mount, the video was very straight forward and informative. The last part made my head spin a bit as it took me like 3 or 4 hours to get the Endless Halls done. After I got it done though I was so relieved and glad I got it out of the way.
Great guide. Originally I was stuck in the maze for four hours (was following your guide to get to that point.) Decided to log off for the day, next day restarted and got the addon and used the addon to map my way, in 30-40 minutes easily found it and got my mount.

Just finished the Maze... 1 hour and 45 min later!! The maps are different and SOLO, i was in a group with my fiance. It split us up, took my 1 hr 45 min and her 2 hours. BEWARE OF AFTERWARDS!! when you get the clue and you leave, WATCH YOUR STEP!! it's not the front door but a fountain and a long drop!! We started around 2pm took a break around 5pm and started again at 9pm am just finishing at nearly 1am.

Thankyou! guide very handy. Done the maze in 1 hr 23 mins.. with the addon (defo use it) tips for people who haven't done it yet.. try not to cross your path on your lucid map, theres multiple levels and where you think you are going back too may be a different floor above or below - find a signal or orb and keep searching new paths around that area, again not crossing paths to make it easier to navigate back. Take speed potions, or use a movement speed class like hunter or monk. Best of luck guys!
The entire journey (with guide) took me one afternoon ... about 4ish hours ... but man that maze ... I was so happy when I finally figured it all out. My tip is ... every new room, mark, all 4 sides (if they are open or walls) and connect the rooms and try to figure out where the teleportation room is. Definitely not easy but worth it.
This video saved me like countless hours of confusion in the maze. Thanks man. I did my maze in roughly 2.5 hours with no maze. I got really lucky, with my green yellow and purple all being near each other. Red gave me a hard time but it wasnt much harder. XD

I know this post is a few years behind the upload, but fact is, the grid with the lights/crystals when counting by squares, is in fact 19x19 and when you count the lights you lit at the beginning ( 3:12 ) - those would be be 5 squares and not 6 which as is shown on the picture you've shown us. - So those who were confused as I was, count each line's cross section as a Light instead, this will help getting it correct.

Very helpful!! TY!! It took me 12 HOURS!!!!! I started at 2pm and stopped at 8pm for and it reset EVERYTHING, and then solved a new one from 9am-1215pm. So be careful.

Thanks so much!...I used word excel to map the endless Halls..it took about 40mins-1hr..the map wasn't really big at all and I learned there are no multiple rooms for orbs and runes...the room they're in is the room they're in and it only took me about 10mins to untangle the lines thanks to your tips

The Endless Halls puzzle in Pandaria is absolutely insane, it literally took me 1-2 hours with an addon, though I dont think the addon helped me at all. For those not ready to spend a lot of time on it remember that you cant leave either without reseting, for example I had found 3, then went for a walk, so now I need all 5 again. Ran around and around eventually found them all by luck, was at 260 rooms in I believe. Good luck and thanks for the video!
Finished it yday after 2 days of nonstop playing with 4 hours of sleep XD insane ! my first struggle was with the lights puzzle- i followed your mapping but it didint work bcuz I thought that each corner of each square had to be a green light- WRONG! I found another map (google is your friend) that did it for me. my 2nd obsticle was the frikkin Endless Hall. AMAGAD I cannot tell you how hard it was.. and i had 2 different once due to human error -.-. all these comments about not mapping and just pick a directio- I cant do that, my mind needs a concrete map to follow.. took a while. BUT I GOT IT! and your voice is sooooo relaxing to listen to. make more videos

There are a lot of people that make very terrible "guides" it is like people don't plan how to make it before they crap up youtube with these shitty half-assed guides.
I can see a lot of people throwing their hands in the air and giving up on that maze, saying "Okay, this isn't worth it."
I thought I'd be in there all night. I was prepared to stay in there until I finished even if I didn't sleep. lol. Only took 3 hours mapping on graph paper. lol
PCFanatic LetsPlay I just memorize in my head prolly took me like 30 min to an hour it was my personal favorite part aside from actually getting the mount

tip: for the maze, just always follow the left wall. by doing that (without making a map) i finished it in ~35-45 minutes. following the left wall is typically how to follow every maze

@@cindyjia5615 Well, last I remember this idea came from a tale about a blind girl forced to navigate a Labyrinth, she succeeded by always keeping her left hand on the wall. Basically if you run through the motions you'll notice you're basically brute forcing the maze, so if you always follow one wall , even if "there is no left" you'll circle back around and what was on your right now will be on your left.

I made lucid nightmare on 2 days When it got too hard i went to sleep and tried next day. The Maze took only 2 hours for me

thankyou very much for this!! The maze bit was a nightmare! Started off ok, I found the green, purple and yellow fairly quick, then found lot of blue orb rooms yet no blue circles for what seemed like ages! Didn't see red of anything until I found 6 rooms of blue orbs! then when I found red orb I quickly found the red circle. Then the blue circle was nowhere, I wondered all over the place! Then I found a blue circle room and so went back to the room I marked with a blue orb in it only to find the orbs and room set out had changed....ugh!! done now though lol!!

Was very helpful... The Endless Hall was a nightmare. Found this video help full don't like the guys as much as you. He was very long winded however his mapping was the most helpful I could find.

If you match the orbs to the runes as you find them, more caved in walls spawn that basically force you where to go by the end.

having just done this. a map deff helps. had a grid paper and just mapped out blocked off areas etc. took around an hour to get through.

That maze took me 3 hours, no point making a map cause there are many levels to this thing. The rooms do not move you just go up a level. The addon sort of helped but it does not do multiple levels, I found it easier to rest the map after you got the orb and rune matched and start again matching the others.... Never again will I do this, lucky you only need to do it once per server...
Thank you for confirming my belief there are different levels. explains so much. And makes my current map attempt useless. Hopefully I can find a sigil room to start figuring out where I am. I only have 2 left.
I just did it im an right in front of the chest, and oh well yes a map does help. Finished it in 1h and 15minutes.

I finally got it, I was stuck in the maze on my last orb and kept getting in the flame room of the last flame I ran around with the last 2 hours. But now. I have it after 3 hours stuck in this shitty maze. Thanks for the guide.

I used an add on called Lucid Nightmare Helper which gives you a map. was able to do it in 1 hour and 15 minutes. It was actually my second try. The first time I did it took me 20 hours, and it glitched on me, never gave me the scroll. so i had to either give up or try again, which i was going to give up, until my guildie told me about the add on. had no problem after that as log as you remember the 8 room rule, that does work as long as you don't runt into a portal.
That maze round tho.. took me 4 hours, i was just running with my last orb like idgaf.. but worth :D

for the Maze thers an addon that you can use that gives you a map that you can use to backtrack were you went and you can choose to put a color on the map were you found a rune or orb sometimes it dont work the backtracking couse sometimes the way you came from got a Boulder this time
Thanks for this...my g/f really wanted this mount...totally not worth it IMO, but the addon did help a bit. I had to reset it 3 times because it wasn't as accurate as it pretended to be.

The endless hall part has UPSTAIR DOWNSTAIR, imagine its 8x8 cube style me and hubby (he did the most job on hall part because I have no sense of direction) lol but woot started 9pm last time first few part is easy only endless hall is HARD! Pretty mount, will travel~ Now onto getting hubby his. lol
