Hello Doctor Nelson reference is shown . For any implant with fever infection should be ruled out. Let me know of any textbook data you found for shunt obstruction. LP is contraindicated raised ICP but we do it guarded after giving mannitol in meningitis also. You would have seen kids with TBM and hydrocephalus getting LP done

Yes doc that is the primary presentation episodic/ sustained HTN depending on early vs late presentation. the fluttering sensation in the tummy is due to catecholamine surge in these patients.
I am astonished by the use of LMWH instead of clopidogrel since as we know the arterial clot is different from the venous clot and that arterial clot is responding more to antiplatelets such as clopidogrel and not LMWH?
Harrison reference is shown in the discussion and fragmin is used in all UA/NSTEMI. Tablets would take time to act .That difference looks good in pathology books doctor

So can option c (outpatient treatment) be the answer?
Hello doctor if the score is 1 which implies only age > 65 years based on patient the freedom for home mx is fine else with age plus elevated BUN it would be inviting litigation in future.
