No they don’t automatically grab the defender. You more so use them to position yourself in front of the defender, and you putting yourself in front of the defender to be wide open is a “crab”
On the fat stop, make sure you have some forward running momentum before you move your LS On the escape cross , make sure you’re going diagonal up on the RS , NOT straight to the left or right
