I remember when I watched the scrims from Garena EU with Dendi, Kuro being the newer, younger, more talented people and they were constantly being teased by the older, more experienced players.

and while reminiscing the fountain hook, might as well pray for Dondo. His country is in martial law right now, any 18-60 males are compelled to fight in the war. He is forced to use guns instead of hooks. As he said in Twitter "I sleep after patch and woke up to war".

The best was tongfu's response to the fountain hook, so many other pro teams and pro players bitching out that they shouldn't be allowed to do that because they considered it abuse, and tongfu were like, ye they good, fountain hook not easy to reproduce it and they won because they better, both teams were champions that day

Dendi. What a legend, as you may think and see a hero that only does is Hook, Rot and Dismember. This man just made the hero creative on his own, and many knows that.

back then, the hook was easy to latch if the enemy just close to the hook path, because the hook effect is widen. Now when valve nerf the hook, you think the hook land correctly, but it is not. For me that's the biggest nerf yet

@@khalilrahme5227 Not sure but, I think before patch 7.00 monkey king. Somewhere on patch 6.6X to 6.7X therefore around 6+ years ago
@@khalilrahme5227 Plus the hook travel speed also has been reduce along with the nerf. On top of that, back then so much room for pudge to hide in the trees to hook. Nowadays, the map also change. Less trees and juke spots.
@@harizhafizi2342 the hook speed is greatly reduced when change from dota to dota2. i remember when playing dota, the hook speed is like istant, harder to dodge

I rarely comment on a video. But WOW, hOly_hexOr. It must have been 12 years since I saw that name. I have played both with and against you on DotaLeague VIP.
But the strongest memory I have of you was when I ended up in the same team as you and Loda and we still managed to lose somehow... What made it even worse was that it was not even a VIP game we played, it was a regular ranked. It's crazy that I remember but you played Abaddon and Loda played Shadowfiend. I think we owned large parts of the match but we never managed to finish. So in the end, when the match had lasted for 70-80 minutes (crazy long game) it turned around because they had better late game carrys. I think Loda bought refresher orb on SF just for fun... Both you and Loda didn't even notice that you joined the same "lobby" and team until we started the game. You where like Oh hi :) Great memories. To bad i dont have the replay anymore.

Pudge was stronger back than. No item such raindrop, vision on map was more limited and he can deny himself.

It so simple everyone just got bitter they didn't had the chance to try it.
i think loda tried it but he can't do it properly. then at the tournament, he was so salty about it that's why he was complaining to the organizer regarding that fountain hook that cause the TongFu to loose the game. he wants to remove it from the game.
It wasn't an easy combo to pull off. Navi missed so many more fountain hooks than they landed in the tongFu game.
I think its just Loda lol. He can't do it himself and bitching about it.

Back then the hook pulled enemies to the pudge, not to the place where it has been hooked from. And combined with the teleport of chen, well, you see this
We miss out of Meta signature heros. No more meepo, Emigma, Mid SF, nature or Lone Druida....
There are still Enigma and mid SF being played right now. Definitely less Meepo and Lone Druid though. Current meta doesnt suit micro heroes apart from Naga/TB.

Still my favorite Dota 2 Player to this day despite there having more better players than him, To me, They can never replace the magical moment of Dota 2 when Dendi was King
He's the main reason I got hooked at maining TA due to his performance against Alliance back in TI3
