What a fantastic run. I was curious why Slade was doing another MGS run until he did the vent glitch. The work around with the lack of ammo for not beating bosses with the stinger was also pretty great. Just fascinating all around. Great show.

Not like this matters, but this was pre-Power Up Audio days. It was incredibly difficult to hear what the runners were saying from where I was sitting. As I’m skimming the comments too, I’m remembering there was a lot of weird silence, which made it odd to not say anything to fill the time. This was back in the days where the host schedule had time blocks, and wasn’t tied to specific runs as they did later. I had actually watched a bunch of the NES block after this expecting to host that, and then ended up in Metal Gear Solid where I knew nothing about the pacing of the games. Sure I should have done better, but it was a different time.
At 38:00 how does this glitch work ? I don't understand, you place the C4 on the floor, and when you activated the C4, what's the manipulation after ? Because i'm stuck on this gtlich.

After coming down the rope and entering Comm Twr B, you can walk straight through the boxes that block the stairs, run up a few stairs and then walk through the inside rail of the staircase - immediately landing on the ground floor, before Sniper Wolf.

He takes like 50 rockets, "Nice shots" from Snake, and then a fall that not even Snake could survive, followed by many machine gun shots to the face, then a crash at the end, and inevitably dies to "FoxDie" or whatever. Either he had a crap ton of rations on hand, or he is by far the superior clone.

Carlos Guadarrama no that's probably the remake of this game on the gamecube you're thinking of. On metal gear solid TTS the disc change is when you enter the communications towers but in the ps1 version the disc change is when you enter the blast furnace after the 2nd Wolf fight 👍

you can kill ocelot with c4, then punch him to death and you can kill the guys in the tank with famas/socom. this game is awesome
