My mother is from Georgetown, Guyana 1930’s - 1960’s. I told her about this video and the Laba. She looked at me like: What the hell are you talking about boy? We cook Pepper-pot with beef and pork. You think I was raised in the bush? Next you’ll be asking me if I got my drinking water from the sewage.
