I have the X-One mk2, but I had Micheal Bruce retune it with some of his magic. It is one of my best iem sets now…bar none..great review Tony. I learn something new every time you post a new video. Thank you 🙏.
Not something I want or need, but I watched anyway. That should say something about your skills as a reviewer. Many thanks for your contributions to the hobby, Tony 🙏
I also like the X-OneLM with the gold nozzles and the INfiter IE45 tips (the non pro, cheaper version). IMO the X-OneLM sounds ordinary with the included narrow bore and BGVP A07 tips. The 5.4mm wide bore IE45 tips just unleash all the 3D layering and separation capabilities of the X-OneLM. The backside profile of the X-One shell also fits my ears perfectly and gives me very high level of isolation
Yep, loving the mk4 with blue nozzles as well, my set is a bit brighter than mk3 but still smooth, and still has that low end rumble with a good seal. Original tuning is still a guilty pleasure though lol. I find the X-Ones just have a different texture compared to the Delci, which I also really enjoy.
Just made a comment about this above. Delci bass is just ok and leaves you craving for more. It's unresolving, if that's even a thing. I've heard the og is a legend in the bass delivery which sounds to me like it's not even on the same playing field.
I was actually disappointed when I got a revised version of the XSL X-One. When I found out the Hanadomi B2 had the tuning of the original I purchased that model and have been very happy with it. 🙂 Different strokes for different folks, I suppose. 🤷♂️ Anyway, thank you for the awesome in-depth comparison! 👍
Bro these stealth revisions kill me. This seriously needs to stop I will never ever ever support a company that does this. Automatic fail and will not be supporting xsl any time soon
Just curious since we seem to have similar tastes in sound, I have a hard time believing Delci bass stacks up to OG or B2. Delci bass is weird, it's like in the background, there's no oomph. The graph teases almost basshead levels but it not even close and the quality is meh. Sounds decent enough until you put on a set with good bass. Then you hear how mushy and unalive Delci bass sounds. Delci also sounds really bright when you turn up the volume. Does not scale well for loud listening. Ridiculously overhyped. I'm still planning on getting the B2. Too many of these hyped sets will kill your ears once you get the thing cranked. I wish more reviewels would talk about scaling for those of us trying to go deaf pleasantly 🤣
@@someoneusaI just listened to my Delci and B2 back to back. B2 has better seperation and more detail but I run into similar problems as the Delci if I try to push it to higher listening levels. I guess the graph is kind of deceptive in that regard (at least for me). One of the best sets I have for high volume listening is the Aful Explorer. I think B2 is still a great set (especially for the price) but I can't crank it much more than mid volume (and I'm using foam tips).
@@_-Z- thank you for this!!! Rosefinch is perfect for loud volume. Not as clear but the bass quality and quantity mKes up for it IMHO 😊 modded, it's crystal clear, haven't attempted cranking it yet. Just modded super cheap Xsl set, sounded horrible but now it is great and can handle the volume.
Nice comparsion as always! Akros chceck the new version of the kbear rosefinch (purple/green) I wonder if the sound has been improved in them... but who will tell us this if not you?
I contacted KBEAR when I saw that it came out It should sound the exact same as the original, only difference is color and slightly more expensive for these colors. The only difference you may hear in sound is chifi QC channel imbalance but a few sets in and I have yet to have that
@@jakubaugustyn9817 same, best 6 dollars I spent. Great set that is not talked about enough at all for a budget rec.... you can just use cheap wide bore tips of the bass is too much and it sounds amazing ^^ I prefer it highly over castor bass personally and qkz x hbb
good day Akros, can I ask something out of context? what IEM would you suggest that compliments with kefine delci but has the closer or somewhat similar sub bass extention (15-30 usd)?
KB Rosefinch. Exchange stock filter for 350 grade and be prepared to have your mind blown. You can get them on sale for around $10. Filters are cheap, excellent quality upgrade cables are $5-10. I'm getting another RF to keep stock as I like the basshead darknsoind. Retuned you get a bit less bass, more mods, with a lot more clarity and details. Sounds like a different IEm. The driver is so good, good build and good looking too.
Wow i didnt even know there was another 3 versions it turns out i have the MK2 which i bought because of the dark magician drivers turns out i bought the wrong version...the octave tigerism has the dark magician drivers as well 😂

Yeah the set is a great fit and allows deep insertion. I also recommend KBEAR 07 or s&s for this set. Both offer amazing performance
Can you please send me link to those tips. Thank you

I will try them too

The mk4 is great I love it with blue nozzle, they are coming out with an x-500 1 DD 4 BA set soon. Hope you can try that out too.
Do you try the x one lm driver in the delci shell i am curious i have them both 😊
