Pottery wheel throwing - tall vase with special clay

Doing some throwing of a lighthouse themed vase. Using some iron oxide enriched clay which makes it red, but when fired its a bit grey, looks nice though. Enjoy

It's so nice to wake up so something other than politics. Good morning Dug. A lighthouse eh? I can't wait to see it finished. I think we are nearing the end of 2 months of hot weather. I'm ready for the fall. I have been working on projects around the yards in the morning while it's still cool. I haven't touched clay in way too long. I've been dealing with skin cancer spots. Unfortunately one is on the back of my left hand. It's almost healed now so I can get back to my mud soon. All my younger years of sun bathing is starting to pay off before sun screen. Hi Joan, the live stream last week didn’t happen due to a plaster disaster making a mould. But going to try it again tomorrow. Should be live for a few hours from about 11am UK time.
