SOmeone dyno'd and tested these mods as well as leaving the silencer on and just removing the 90 degree elbow that is inside the fender, the elbow removal was the same as doing the deck plate mod and ISR. From an expert pro tuner that's been in the business for decades, air temperature trumps your "flow" modding, always. Getting the air from the fender is ideal because there isn't an radiator air in there. The deck plate opens up the front and what's around it? Engine bay temps, a headlamp, and radiator air. Leave it closed and remove the fender to remove that elbow behind it. Costs less, takes less time, gives the same output. FOr more power, supercharger. Or... HydraCharge it. I'm working on a hydrogen system that uses 2 forms of hydrogen gas to increase power and mileage, and anyone can install it. It uses some electronics and requires minimal modification (drilling a few holes to run wires and hose). I haven't posted any of what I have been doing for the past several years on RUclips but I have some old videos of my hydrogen experiments on there. I've been messing with hydrogen experimentation since 2015, and unlike other guys out there on forums or guys selling devices on the web I actually work on and understand cars, as well as the better way to accomplish making hydrogen that no one else seems to be aware of. I will be in business next year installing on diesel trucks since they respond way better and use more gas per engine/year to make it worth my time to install my setup.
Great video, im thinking about doing theI ISR mod soon but I just moved to Utah and I was wondering if you usually go offroading or overlanding and see if i can tag along sometime
Do completely quote me on this, but I think it doesn't work because the silencer is not integrated into the intake the same way. I don't believe it has two hoses that it couples to, it's just in the side of the main intake hose so it interacts a little differently with the system.

Mostly camping in a little bit more remote areas, not sure if that's considered overlanding though! You'll love the state, it's so great!
Cool!
Thanks!
At mark 1:40…mine has ripped too. What is the name of that little
hose? Or do you have a link to the part you bought?
I do not have a link. It's just an engine intake hose, make sure you get the right one, the 98-2000 is different from the 01-02.
Can you provide more detail on the vacuum line?
I just uploaded a short on more detail! Let me know if it helps. I'm sorry that it took a while to get that going.
Hey buddy can you tell me where I can get those headlights you have on this 4Runner,
I have a 1999
I might be buying a bunch of OEM headlights housing and remaking them haha! They're diy, check out my first video if you're interested!
Chin up champ
Thank you very much! That really helps!
USE POP RIVETS ON THE INTAKE GRILL YOU INSTALLED ALONG WIH CLEAR SILICONE CAULKING
Pop rivets didn't even occur to me! That's such a good idea!
How come you can’t do the ISR on the 98 model?
