বাংলা প্রবাদ শখের তোলা নাকি ৮০ টাকা। আর তাইতো মাদারীপুর জেলার রাজৈর উপজেলার পাইকপাড়া ইউনিয়নের সাবেক চেয়ারম্যান শাহজাহান মোল্লা ১৬ লাখ টাকা ব্যয়ে নির্মাণ করেছেন ১২২ হাত লম্বা বাইচের নৌকা ।নৌকাটি দেখতে প্রতিদিন দূরদূরান্ত থেকে হাজার হাজার মানুষের ঢল নামে। আজ শনিবার ২৬সেপ্টেম্বর ২০২০ তারিখে মাদারীপুর জেলার এমপি বাংলাদেশ আওয়ামী লীগের প্রেসিডিয়াম সদস্য সাবেক নৌ পরিবহন মন্ত্রী শাজাহান খান ছুটে আসেন দেখতে। শুধু তাই নয় নৌকা ভাসানো হবে তার জন্য সার্কাসের হাতি ভাড়া করে আনা হয়েছে। আসলেই মানুষ শখের বশে কত কিছুই না করে ঘটনাস্থলে না গেলে বিশ্বাসী হতো না যে, কি নৌকা নির্মাণ করেছেন শাহজাহান মোল্লা ।নৌকা ঘিরে এলাকায় ছোট ছোট দোকান বসেছে ।আগন্তুকরা নৌকাটি দেখতে এসে সেখান থেকে খাবার কিনে খান। আবহমান বাংলার ঐতিহ্য এভাবেই যুগের পর যুগ টিকে থাকবে শাহজাহান মোল্লাদের মাধ্যমে।

Thousands of people flock to see the boat every day from far and wide. Former Shipping Minister Shahjahan Khan, a presidium member of Bangladesh Awami League, MP of Madaripur district, came to see him on Saturday, September 26, 2020. Not only that, the circus elephants have been hired for the boat to be floated. In fact, if people did not go to the scene without doing anything as a hobby, they would not believe that Shahjahan Mollah built the boat. There are small shops in the area around the boat. Visitors come to see the boat and buy food from there. This is how the tradition of abhaman Bengal will survive for generations through Shahjahan Mollah.
