It's amazing how people say, "Oh, she's weak at singing."she's horrible at performing." I would like to see one of you guys go up on stage in front of millions of people to sing and perform. We should all be focusing on the meaning of the song, not on so much of her vocals. Just saying. TBH.. I love her voice. It's unique and beautiful.
We aren't trying to be famous for our voices. So suggesting anyone else who finds her voice dissatisfying do so is irrational. Her profession in this instance is singing, and she does so with mediocrity. She does seem like a lovely girl and I'm not familiar with her acting but I suspect it is better than her singing. I don't understand why she would feel compelled to be a pop star when her strength may lie in acting. There are many deserving people who are extremely talented and never make this stage, so it's annoying to see her reach this level without any skill to speak of. And the meaning of... of the song? Of this song? It's about sex. Deep. And it wasn't even written by her, nor did she contribute in any way, so it doesn't seem special or like something we should be focusing on instead of her voice.

Why is everyone using lupus as an excuse for her lack of singing ability? She has never been a strong singer, and it's just sad that she can't perform any of her songs as well as they sound on her records. It's unfair to the tons of people that actually can sing but don't make it big. I'm no fan of Selena, I'm a Selenator. I support her like she's part of my family. I hate it when people think she's a horrible singer, I mean she's no Adele or Demi, but she found her own voice and I support her with that. If she's a close friend or a sister to you, would you say in front of them that they're horrible at singing? I really love Selena, no matter what the haters think, if you don't like her, I understand but please keep it to yourself.
