Thanks for the tips! All fantastic. I’ve been reversing the spine for my upper back but now I know I should do the same for the lower back too.

I love this, I've just started in my journey, I'm 32yo and have just started really pushing myself and I feel like a million bucks, but I worry about the future. Want to start before it's too late

Hello Scott, I just would like to thank you for this video. I lowered my seat about 1.5 cm and I was able to pretty much eliminate my back pain. Thank you so much for this amazing tip! Bless you!

Was having major back pain and hand numbness even on short 25mi ride’s. Thought it was because I was pushing big gears. Saw several of your videos and reduced saddle height 5mil, pushed it bat3mil and that fixed the issue. 👍🏾

I do some form of stretching nearly everyday in order to achieve my splits. A lot of that involves various Yoga and strength exercises. If I think about it, the last time I had some issues with my back was before my cycling journey, so I must be doing something right.

This really helped me. I lowered my saddle about 10 mm and moved it forward.

Great advice coach. Video on overloading hands really helped. This one helps to re-affirm what I am doing right.

Excellent video. This gives me some ideas and things to work on. I believe I'm one of those that tends to collapse my low back, especially on steeper climbs which maybe is causing discomfort in my hip flexors. Along with that I've been cursed with high arches, short achilles tendons and inflexible hamstrings. One of the things that also gives me post ride low back relief is to just lay on my stomach. Not the best for my neck though. Just found and subscribed to your channel today and really liking it a lot. Thanks so much for sharing your knowledge, enthusiasm and your accent.

Hello coach, I was suffering from hamstring pain, after I lowered tha saddle like you said with my heal on the pedal and straight leg on the bottom of the stroke the hamstring pain iwas gone. But now I'm suffering from lower backpain after 1- 1.5 hour caused by the musscels. When I get off the bike the pain is gone in minutes. I adjusted the handle bars with the zomby method so they're in the right position also. Do you have any suggestions or do I need to do more core stability excercises ?
I like your video's a lot, you really know what your talking about and also with a lot of humor.
    Hope to hear from you

Sorry to hear - sometimes lower back pain can still be reach issue or stack height too low. However, it can also be a pelvis issue. As you lose stability or glutes get tired your lumbar tries to stabilise pelvis and it’s pretty weak at that job. So more work on hip stability. Plus it can happen if you push a big gear a lot (with the weaker hip stability) 👍

Hi coach, I found the problem, I adjusted rhe sadlle from horizontal to just a litlle nose down, its a flat pro falcon, and now my pelvis is more tilted forward like you advise and the handlebar 5mm higher, no more backpain, only a litlle in the neck, so turned the handlebar a fraction down to get a litlle more space. I think the next ride its spot on.

The only way to get rid of a bad back is to do push ups, lunges and FREEBIKE. Traditional cycling is terrible for Your Posture, neck and back.
