This video was perfect for me. I was able to make a card that was very difficult to find in stores. I was able to make a personal card from our dog to my husband for fathers day. thank you very much. I am now searching to find how to make an envelope for the card.
Just wanted to clarify something. When you are making a greeting card you are folding the page in half and the content is flipped on it's side. So when you print it you flip it on the opposite side of what you select when printing on 2 sides or if you are manually doing it, you flip it on the short side. This is because you are folding the page in half so you are doing the opposite of what the printer tells you (if you select flip on long edge when doing duplex printing, you flip it on the Short edge, if you are choosing flip on short edge, you flip it on the long edge. - I created a Birthday card on My remarkable 2 and exported it as PDF and printed it and found the correct way to reload the paper to make it work like a card :) Just thought I would share to clarify it

You inspired me to use it to create an Anniversary card for my Sunday School Teacher and her husband. The younger students will color in and write their names. I was looking many places but you really inspired me. I made it happen because of your tutorial. Much success in all of your endeavors!

Will it work if I print both pages but print double sided, Instead of putting the page back in the printer? I don’t have a printer, I go to the library and I don’t think they’ll let me put the page back into the printer…
I understand totally about the checker background since I have gotten images before like that and show up just how you have it on the screen, but what do you do in the sitaution when you actually have the image and the checker background and want to get rid of it? PLEASE HELP or make another video on how to edit!
Thank you for the great tutorial. I was able to make a cute birthday card for my grandson. I am using Microsoft Office 360 and the only thing I couldn't find was how to transform the font to curve down. Otherwise, it was really helpful to be able to follow along with your instructions.
Is possible for you to make a video on how to make a foldable on google docs? I use Word online, they don't have certain things I need to make a foldable card such as the blank page or to add in the shape
Hi Tracey, thanks for this excellent tutorial, it's really helped me. I followed your instructions to the letter, but I'm getting a white margin on the right hand side of both pages that cuts off part of the text. Any idea how I might fix this please? Thanks

Good video, but there is one thing I do not understand: what is “feed” and why do we need it? Can’t we just print it double sided with a flip on the short edge?
Good info, but the areas you need to be slow on your to damn fast. Slow down and explain the important parts verses explain how to use google, I think we all have that down.....
Go up in your right hand if you use your phone and press on the three dots then choose playback speed and press on 0,75 that will be very good to understand and slow her videos and voice in the same time

So that’s what the checkered background is. On mobile devices it sucks, but I didn’t realize there was a reason for it
after the front picture of the card comes out, which was exactly do you feed the paper so the right side of the paper has the picture ?

I am still seeing the background of the picture….it has the little checks and says it’s transparent. Is there something I have done incorrectly?

You can simply click on the cog in the bottom left-hand side of the video and click speed and choose .75 to slow it down

I'm sure you can...a lot of people don't have high end printers and need to re-feed....but sure, you should be able to print double sided...

I couldn’t get the .png image to display w transparent background like the video. It still shows the checkered squares on Word. What did I do wrong?
Some .png's aren't true .png's they are a screenshot with the transparent background...I would pick a different image....
