My dad found out last year (he's 77) that the man he knew as his father wasn't his biological dad. The man that was his mother's "good friend" that he knew really well growing up was. He submitted DNA to 23andMe, and a second cousin showed up. He happened to have known her in high school. Since his mom has passed, he asked her sister about it, and she told him the truth, and thought that he already knew. He connected with his new found cousin and she sent photos of her uncle, who is his bio father and there's no mistaking the resemblance. He's passed as well. We've connected with his surviving relatives and embraced them, but I can't imagine how hard this has been on my dad.
Ugh... this is why I'm against fornication/adultery/prostitution/premarital sex... because what if your dad fell in love with the 2nd cousin in school unknowingly.... that would've been incest. Good grief.

I commend Jack Rosenthal aka Paul Fronczak for having the courage to look into his origin. Unfortunately, his adopted parents were ignorant of his desire to find the truth... choosing not to speak to him for a couple of years. Fact is, he didn't ask to be put in this situation to begin with! He has every right to know his roots. Sadly, it seems his biological siblings are twice as ignorant for refusing to accept him. Kinda tells you what type of characters they really have! And I also feel for the real Paul Fronczak. May he rest in peace. Conniving individuals like Linda Taylor are the true scum of the Earth. They simply don't care that such actions affects people's lives in such a painful way.
I understand Paul's point of view but I also understand his parents'. They wanted to believe that he was their son, so they did. By the time he went to find the truth, they probably really DID believe it. They raised him and loved him, that's what makes a family. We need to keep in mind that those people had their newborn kidnapped. Also, they suffered a stillborn child the year before. Btw, I've heard many videos about this and I've never heard the implication that they didn't tell him when he was growing up and never heard of them being estranged for years either. No offense to our lovely narrator, but every other source gave the impression that he knew full well of his history and the police believed that he was Paul when he was found. This is giving the impression that they stepped forward and took him and that's untrue; the police brought him to them. In any event, it sounds like Paul/Jack dodged a bullet when they found him.
Thank you! Took the words right outta my mouth.... my thoughts exactly! Between the adopted & biological families, they're placing their anger/coldness out on the one innocent person! Awful.
The parents probably thought their whole lives may be turned upside down, and turns out that they weren't wrong. Not an excuse but a possible explanation. The siblings however I'm struggling to think why they wouldn't want to engage with a long lost brother. Their individual life stories probably, we just don't know.
@@michelleprieur1 somewhere along the line of my many podcasts and true crime videos I’ve come across this story and it was about 45 mins long and they did state in there exactly what she said about everyone knowing the fake Paul probably wasn’t the right one but it was such hot news at the time that they just wanted to give peace to the parents and close the case. The video I had watched said almost the same thing about him finding the stuff and going on a long search to find out who he was and that his parents legit stopped talking to him for a few years over the dna test cuz they knew he wasn’t theirs the mother just wanted a child back.
Why would his siblings decline to connect with him? That’s so sad! I found out a few years ago that I have a new brother, I couldn’t wait to meet him! I had too!
That's awesome you got to meet him... My best friend who is 66 now knew from an early age she was adopted as a new born. In her 40s she found her biological family. She was born the 7th child of a married couple and adopted by neighbors who were childless in 1955... strangely 4 more children were born after her bringing the total to 11... she met her biological mom who sadly passed away several months later. She has reconnected with all 10 of her siblings who welcomed her into their lives. Many siblings have passed away over the last 2 decades but she remains close to all who survive. At last count she has 32 nieces and nephews and 51 great nieces and nephews ❤ 💙 💜. She had a wonderful childhood and loved her parents dearly. The only question she had for her biological mother was Why Her?? She never answered that question 😒 Sorry for the long post. My BFF and I have had numerous conversations concerning her adoption and I've met 2 of her biological sisters. One sister could be her identical twin... Have an awesome Thursday
Considering what they had for parents, I don't blame them. I'm not sure why the narrator didn't go into a lot of detail about this, but Paul/Jack had a twin sister who disappeared right when he was found. He was abandoned and that was bad enough. According to Paul, based on what his relatives have told him, his biological parents killed his sister Jill, she simply disappeared. Yes, they were named Jack and Jill. Not to mention that they never came looking for Paul/Jack. I know it's not Paul's fault but I can't imagine what those other siblings went through. I wouldn't want to revisit that either.
@@michelleprieur1 Southern Girl did mention Paul had a twin sister. She spoke quite a bit about her... even what Jill may look like today... When i was 13 years old, i found out i had a half sister that was a year and half younger than me. She was my fathers daughter. He had been engaged to her mother not long after i was born. He lied to her mother about my existence. She eventually found out about me and a huge blow up happened. Long story short, he beat her up and they broke up. He never even met my half sister. Hence why i was never told about her until my mother finally decided to tell me when i was 13. Ever since i found out, i searched for her. It took me about 3 years to finally find her mother. I sent her a message but she blocked me. My theory is she talked to my half sister about me(not sure if she knew i existed until then either) and ultimately left thr decision up to her if she wanted to reach out to me. She eventually accepted my friend request and we have had maybe 4 dry, odd conversations since connecting. It really sucks because i truly wished to get to know her and have a relationship but she seems very disinterested in the idea. We dont live very far from each other. At the same time, i dont blame her because her and her mother are terrified of my father and i resemble him A LOT. i have made it very clear that i have no relationship with him, havent seen him or spoken with him in over 10 years and do not wish too. They still dont care and have no wishes to connect with me. I understand but then again it kind of devastates me to think about. I always stay hopeful that maybe someday she will change her mind. Until then, i understand the feeling of having something important missing in your life. I was also kept from seeing my little brother and sister for over 10 years because my other ex step mother is also terrified of my abusive father. She doesnt want him to figure out where they are because we truly believe if he did know, he would do harm by either kidnapping or trying to take her to court again... maybe even worse. I finally found them and got to see them for the first time in over a decade around christmas of 2019. Best christmas gift ever! They were sooo grown up and we resemble each other like crazy. I am blessed to have them back in my physical life because they never left my mind or heart. It scares me to think my father just got remarried for the 4th time to a woman with 3 small girls. My sister and i were attempting to find where his new wife worked when they were just engaged so that we could write her a letter warning her about my dad. I could never find that information. I couldve easily Facebook messaged her or even found their home address but i didnt want to run the risk of him seeing the letter or message first...
WOW! I know what it is lol me to be related to toxic people and to hope for a connection(s) only to be spurned. I encourage you to seek out private investigators and to take good care of your own mental health too (trauma like this can leave us more damaged than we realize and vulnerable to manipulation). At least the family has been honest with you, but has not tried to deliberately use you. I wish you more luck in the future. And to love yourself as much as you wish others did.
Maybe once your “father” dies your 1/2 sister & her mother will finally feel their safe from him to where you & her can finally connect as sisters. Just don’t give up but don’t be surprised if y’all never click. I have a older brother who’s 6 years older then me we grew up together in the same house but you’d think we didn’t or didn’t know about me. He wants nothing to do with me, he could care less about me. Our mom doesn’t even mention my name when she talks to him because he’ll cut the phone call off. Hell he even came down (he lives 3 hours north of us mom & I live in the same area) for Thanksgiving few years ago & I was told I wasn’t invited & not to show up at all to our moms house while he was there. I’m telling you this cause sometimes siblings don’t care & it’s not your fault. (I used the “” because to me he doesn’t deserve the respect of being called a father for all his done & how much it negatively affects you & relationships with your siblings)
Poor Nadine... overkill by stabbing is personal. And Simcak stood over her, his blood dripping: there was some connection. Whether he knew her, or had simply seen her & became obsessed...that will never be known.
I'm from the Cleveland area and haven't had about Nadine. That story doesn't make sense. I wonder if they knew each other in same way. Thanks for the video.

I firmly believe in cases like the last one that the justice system needs to be held accountable for giving lenient sentences to repeat sexual offenders. We had a very sad case here where a real pig would raped and got some pathetic sentence more than once and the last time got released early, he then raped and murdered a woman, it was a huge case. So she was a victim to him and the justice system. The judge was probably a misogynist.

Changing the babies date of birth would seriously hamper anyone’s search or research wouldn’t it. I’m applying for any government documentation relating to my mother (as a child) and I have applied for 2 different “year of birth”. As mum got older, she began to change her year of birth, but the documents from her childhood are more consistent, and hopefully, more reliable.

Thank You S.G.C.S.🌻💛
Jack Rosenthal deserves to be treated with love and respect by everyone. I am very disappointed in his adopted family and his biological family.
Love your stories. The stolen child story is beautiful and tragic.
I listen to you every night ❤ you are a very good story teller
I really appreciate that SGCS uses actual photos, videos, and news clips instead of random free-use stock.
Wow just wow SG!! Thanks
This is a bit off topic I know, but just wanna say you nailed the pronunciations from here in the UK! A lot of people do get tripped up by some of our pronunciations lol, we have some weird spelled words and places! But I'm really impressed haha, and it feels good that someone took the time to research what the correct pronunciations were! Thanks 🌞❤️
I must say Im proud too. Didn’t know if I was saying them right even after researching lol
I apologise but I have to correct you- Peter Sutcliffe was the 'Yorkshire ripper'.
Susan hush up she already is aware of the mistake no need for the comment thanks
@@cassyzinkartandwallart7736 Your comment wasn't needed Karen

23:25 Why castration would be a good punishment for these types of crimes
Ah yes the southern accent, love it
Hooray 😃
Sad but true. Thank you
How sad for both families of Paul
Love to see your notifications 😍 Y’all have a great day 💕
First 1,at last, cool, this makes my day, thanks crime girl.
congrats! reply also for the algorithm : ))
The age progression is remarkable!
I thought it was only here in the US where these beasts were sentenced to ridiculously short terms, only to repeat their crimes. Disgusting creatures. Thank you Southern Girl for another great video.
Nope. For ridiculously short terms, check out Canada!
There are several countries that are way worse than the US. They believe these monsters can be rehabilitated.
Thanks, SG.
R.I.P. Shanie...Prayers going up for your family and thier grief... Fly High Precious Angel.
Even if u find out your parents aren't your real parents you can't turn your love you have for them on and off like a light switch
Poor Nadine... overkill by stabbing is personal. And Simcak stood over her, his blood dripping: there was some connection. Whether he knew her, or had simply seen her & became obsessed...that will never be known.
An obsessed person will go in to have his/her next obsession, if no other cases are found, then my guess is there were reason behind the story
Part of me wonders if the son is the killers not the husbands and she was killed to cover up an affair
Good Morning!
Good morning Lucy!
What a sick world🤦
I never considered Welfare Fraud as a reason to abduct an infant!
And the conspiracy around the dead men and the Radar company is fascinating!
Both sets of parents in the Fronczak case seem crazy as hell.
Interesting how Jack was replacing Paul unknowingly from Tennesee all the while Paul was being kidnapped to Tennessee
💜💜💜💜💜
I'm from the Cleveland area and haven't had about Nadine. That story doesn't make sense. I wonder if they knew each other in same way. Thanks for the video.
Same
In Shani's case, if he was still locked up, Shani may still be alive today. Once they committed more than once, they seem to Never stop.Sad story.
Clive Barwell was not the Yorkshire ripper or responsible for 13 murders. He was bad enough without adding Peter Sutcliffe crimes to his list.
My apologies

Who gags & binds themselves? Bunch of Keystone cops!! What a joke!!
I'm so glad he found out some history. Even if it's not all good it's still some answers. 👍 Had the adults not been I'll. He would have been adored. I'm sad the siblings didn't want to reconnect. 😓🙏❤️🌹
Eww it's creepy when ur name is mentioned in a murder case when it's not a common name great content thanks SG ✌️
Nadiiinneeee……👀
Such a sad story, for this poor man, and his mom. On Shani, who reinstated that fool, her hands were tied behind her back ?
Peter Sutcliffe who is he?? York Ripper????
My mistake
There was no need for this comment 🤣

I don't understand why Paul siblings WOULDN'T want to meet him when they were separated at such a young age!
How idiotic that people were trying to say Shaney killed herself! It sounds like they were just lazy.
The composite artist rendering was spot on it could have been a picture that was done by looking at the real person.
Victims and Family and Friends ❤❤❤
My aunt went to high school with Nadine, though I don’t know if she knew her.
The judge was probably a misogynist.
omg that first story was crazy
RIP 💐
Excellent vid! Although very heart breaking . Btw you made a mistake …. Just kidding, I won’t repeat it again. Everyone makes mistakes and that’s ok. Your content is always good and on point. One mishap isn’t going to phase your channel! 🥰

Completely agree with Jen ❤️❤️❤️@@SouthernGirlCrimeStories I
The medical examiner in Shani’s case must have been nuts.
Say that she tied herself up is just ridiculous in my opinion.
That last guy was a good one for all those that say they don't have killers in the UK. Yea right
I feel like the parents knew after some time the kids wasn’t There’s if it wasn’t much of a similarity, they must’ve been afraid to face that truth again, that their son was still missing. But if Jack never looked into his origins there would be no one trying to get justice for Jill.
@12:12, is that Paddy the baddy Pimblet??
I just can't understand why these criminals are released and go on to mire crimes ..Sentences are too short should be life in prison. Thanks for the great works stay safe.
very interesting cases !!! we can be friends ?
Please cover the story of Jawaher Hajji #JusticeForJawaher
Changing the babies date of birth would seriously hamper anyone’s search or research wouldn’t it.
I’m applying for any government documentation relating to my mother (as a child) and I have applied for 2 different “year of birth”.
As mum got older, she began to change her year of birth, but the documents from her childhood are more consistent, and hopefully, more reliable.
