"Lake Chiemsee" is one of those self-redundant things, since "Chiemsee" is "Lake Chiem", so it's more properly just "Chiemsee", but I suppose that one could say something like "Chiemsee, the large lake between Salzburg and München"...nah, just Chiemsee....again, delete as you like. But i'm learning stuff, didn't know much about Bamberg (except painfully trying to drive around there! )
Sorry, but the pronunciation of Berchtesgaden drives me crazy.,. The first part is almost like Bear-chtes and the "gaden" is not like "godden", but has a more definite "a" sound, not like "bad", but not as soft as "father"...what a picky guy, but these little things kind of reduce the 'credibility' a little.... delete this note, if you like ;-)
