I live alone so I am the only one to enjoy my Christmas stuff so it goes up early November and down usually sometime in mid to end of January, last year it was mid February but I don't put up a large tree,, I have a 3' table top tree, my nativity, my fireplace mantel and that's it. The lights help me get thru the darker months of winter. And Oh My Gosh Frankie and the vroom vroom!! LOL
I can’t decorate for Christmas until after Thanksgiving. I like putting Christmas decorations away either a day or two before New Years or New Year’s Day. There’s something about the simplicity after Christmas that is calming. I keep up all window light though. I live in Maine where it is cold, snowy and dark in January. Many people continue their window and outdoor tree lights through February.
I like to leave my Christmas decorations up into January, but put away by February. When we lived in Wisconsin it was quite normal especially for the outside decorations because most would be frozen in place.

To each their own... I decorate for Christmas after my birthday (Dec 6). And keep it up until epiphany (Jan 7)... And this year I might keep it up longer so my husband, who is currently deployed with the USAF, can open his Christmas gifts when he returns. We shall see
