Absolutely the best hyperdimensional walk through I've ever seen. I'd love to see the storyboard and narative for this. Hopefully a full revelation will be forthcoming.
Two excellent artists and personal favorites. I'll never forget EB's classic Harthouse tracks, and of course Juno Reactor being one the most inventive and creative dance acts ever, always evolving. Great combination and something I really did not expect in 2022!
visually stunning...there is one part i truly love during the second track where it seems an alien transforms into a woman figure, back again, and then into a ballet dancer. atleast that's what i saw and it was beautiful and reminded me of james bond main title sequences with the female silhouette. everything is a banger, but i truly love the melody in the third track "Memory Vortex"; so haunting and alien posh-like. Great solid material to the ones involved in its creation.
I've never been a fan of Star Wars and Star Trek, too much violence, explosions, I think it gives a false image of what is happening in space according to our projections of egocentric humans, and their soundtrack is far too orchestral for science fiction, I feel. Certainly, there are beautiful philosophies conveyed in these works, but in my opinion, that does not compensate for the overintensity of the fights. I like this kind of sci-fi movie so much better, no violence, no explosion, no glorification of the ego, and the soundtrack, less percussive, brings a soothing cosmic vibe, which is much more in resonance with the real cosmos, I feel. After all, when we look up into the dark sky, most people see stillness and calm, right? That being said, there may be alien species waging war in the real cosmos right now without most of us knowing, but should we care? I think our concern should be how we conceive of the world in our minds, because how we conceive of the world in our minds is how we relate to it in the real world. That's what's interesting with fiction, it allows you to see how the author conceives the world in his mind. Personally, I don't subscribe to the way that the authors of Star Wars or Star Trek conceive space 😅 but I subscribe to this! Kudos for this amazing film.
Glad you like it. Thanks so much for your kind words and insight. Our imagination is to dream of expansion, exploration and extraterrestrials in peaceful coexistence in the hope our rhythms of life one day echo the unity of the dancefloor. Science Fiction, perhaps, but only a dream for those that sleep.
